I'll say that some of the celebs I haven't been a fan of, either because they've come off as stiff, or maybe don't like their outspoken politics, I've seen a different side of them when their mouth is on fire, and sweat is rolling down their face, and while trying to survive that, are being interviewed.

The Hot Ones host actually does a really good job interviewing. They clearly do their research and are often asking people questions they weren't expecting or from maybe deep in their past.

Pre-pandemic, we had a Hot Ones challenge at our office. We pitched in for about 20 different spices and millions of wings and chips. We put questions in a bucket and everyone who participated had to pick and answer. Add in the alcohol and that this was done during work hours made it 100xs better. No contest though, it was just another excuse to drink at 3PM lol.

What I think is great is how often someone he's interviewing will say, "wow, how do you know about that..." or "this is one of the best interviews I've had." They have their gimmick, but whoever is doing the pre-interview research does a hell of a job getting info on topics way beyond the normal fluff interview stuff like on late night, and Sean Evans does a great job of asking the questions.

While the wings and reaction makes this stuff great, it's one of the best pure interview shows I've seen.

This one was just 4 days ago so im assuming they have started a new season.

Also, while at MDF this past weekend there was a guy selling his own hot sauce (cant remember the name offhand) but the scoville on it was 4,000,000. Lol Shit was ridiculously hot. Lol

Yowza. Crazy. The one I watched a month or two ago, possibly the Brolin one, was the last of the previous season. I think they do two or three "seasons" a year.
