Looks like we're picking 8 or 9. So who does everyone want?

Gimme 1 name at 8/9, a name you'd trade up for and a name you'd like to trade back and still land.

Feel dirty saying it, but was glad the Raiders got the two point conversion.

Trade up for Sewell, Parsons or Fields.

Draft Farley at 8/9.

Trade back for Wade.

There are 3 names I want in this draft...Parsons, Farley and Leatherwood.

I would expect to have to trade up for Parsons, but all the mocks have him dropping a bit. I realistically would only trade up for a QB regardless.

Farley could/should be there at 8 or 9 for us...but CB is an eye of the beholder situation this year with Farley, Surtain and Horn.

Leatherwood is the perfect future RT for us. His pass blocking is advanced. His run blocking needs some work but coming to Denver as a swing until James missed time could be a perfect situation for him.

The beauty of Leatherwood is he could swing over to LT once Bolles contract is done.

I think Farley is scheme diverse, whereas someone like Horn’s teammate (Mukuama) is a Pete Carroll CB only.

Wade looks like a slot CB only early on, judging by Friday’s performance.

We should have beaten both the Chargers and Raiders in the final two weeks. We are probably better than both of those teams when half of our starters aren’t out for the season. I’ll take the better draft pick and playing the Jags and Jets over a hallow victory.

And with the 17 game schedule we get an NFC team with our same division standing, which next year will be the Lions. So yeah, that makes it even more beneficial not to win meaningless games at the end.

We must land Surtain or Parsons at pick 9.

RT? Hmm I have to do my homework on whoever leatherwood is, I can’t recall if teams actually draft Right tackles this high or not but I suppose if he’s an elite prospect he cannot do anything but bolster the OL. We definitely need a RT if James punk ass is going to chump out yet again. I really think we need to trot his ass out there and at least get a year out of his soft ass

Lol once Bolles contract is done? Bolles isn’t going anywhere any time soon man. If leatherwood is the guy then he’ll be playing RT the next 10 years in Denver.

Look, Ass-hole, his contract will run out at the exact same time as this drafts 1st round pick would be going into his 5th year option. He’d be an in-house option to move over at any given moment, but especially after Bolles is no longer on the team.

You have no clue as to why James opted out, D1ck, and it’s quite literally none of your ******* business ... stick to being punked on MB’s.

Btw, the Bucs took a RT at 14 last year, it’s a thing.

3 names? Defensive best player available. Preferably ILB or CB:
Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State
Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama
Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina

I'm intrigued by:
Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech
Christian Barmore, DT, Alabama
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame
Gregory Rosseau, DE or EDGE, Miami

If we stay at our current pick we need to look hard at Parsons and Surtain. I would also be very interested in Trading back for Collins the LB from Tulsa and CB Farley. Not really interested in trading up for anyone other then Lawrence. Rashawn Slater from Northwestern who is a C/G/T is intriguing in a trade back as well.

Agree to a point. He should go as high as is being talked about in the first 15 picks, but he is a quality OL and after pick 20 you could sell me on his value. His versatility is a good thing for a OL that constantly has issues at every position year to year. He has some very good Tape against very good players in the Big ten. I still am against a RT type player at 15 and above. IF that player can be more then just a RT and do it well it should be considered in rd 1. Hence my interest in trading back for him.

Slater is a legit OL prospect, but some think his best fit is inside at center apparently unless he adds strength, he is being compared to a Beachum at Left Tackle or a Hudson inside at Center for which I don't know if the new GM will feel we have a glaring need. Beast RT as a Sophomore, No sacks given up His junior year at LT, then a excellent senior year as well. 37 game starter with elite athleticism and versatility. I don't know if he is a top 10 kind of guy but he is def the type of OL player you take 1st rd. with his skill set and versatility.

Beachum isn’t exactly the case you make for a 1st round pick, at his size and length he’s destined for G in the NFL. Those are a dime-a-dozen, you can find those in free agency. I bet you can get Beachum in free agency.

Your right I'm off a year it was his junior year that was beast mode at LT. He did not play this year. That alone may cause him to drop out of first rd. though right wrong or indifferent. Off-season workouts will be a big deal this year. Senior bowl and shrine as well especially if players that opted out participate.

Just saw a big thing yesterday about major issues with parsons. I had heard several people with concerns about his ability to process, then you factor in the fact that he's had a few arrests and I'm less bullish on him than I was. The only person I would realistically trade up for is Sewell. At 9:00 I would take Surtain or Farley. And I'm with assassin I would love to trade back for leather wood. I think he's another Ryan Ramczyk without the injury concerns.

This has been a thorn in my nerves for the last week or so listening to Scott Hastings, he’s already buried Jeudy because his body language, Lock mostly because he dances, Fant because he thinks he’s soft.

He listed the Broncos weapons as such; Patrick, Lindsay, Fant, Albert O, Hamler, Jeudy and thinks Sutton could be anywhere between 1 and 6. All of this is obscenely stupid.

Every one of those players had talent shooting out of their ears. "It" didn't make Elway and Manning great. Elway was literally the greatest prospect the sport has ever seen. Manning was one of the top five talented players to ever come out. "It" surely helped them, but it isn't why they were good.

All of it matters just having talent doesn't make you great. Plenty of examples of supremely talented players flaming out because of not having so called it.....(no passion, work ethic, leadership etc.) Jaded is not wrong though in the fact that it wont make you a NFL great, just having it without lots of NFL talent may hide your lack of talent for a bit, but being exposed will come sooner rather then later.
