The two off ball linebackers not named Simmons. Aren't you a sports writer?

No, not anymore. And I’ve never covered NCAA football, so that’s really irrelevant. It was also a joke.

Murray is an excellent choice. He’s just not getting hyped because of the Simmons hype.

I hope Poet and Shane approve of my use of the hype concept here.

Man I really like Queen too. Of course when Zerlein compared Murray to Al Wilson who is one of my all time favorite Broncos my heart beat a little faster.

Murray and Wilson are probably the 2 LB's I'm most interested in this draft....There are some good options for ILB rd 1-3 though including Queen.

I have no problem with Murray, but also dont have a problem with Harrison, Quarterman, or Mack.

Wilson is nice. I'd take Taylor in the 4th. Ton of instinct to work with and he is a freakish athlete

The answer is Isaiah Simmons.

I don't know if you're talking strictly off ball backer that Simmons is better. Jack knife yes

Well...if we can discuss the option of trading up for a left tackle prospect that may or may never actually pan out as a quality left tackle...then we can certainly entertain the idea of trading up for a unique talent like Simmons. Especially if he's still around by pick 9 or 10. He'd certainly be a safer pick than any of the OL options

Yeah but the point is the question was regarding Murray and queen. And man you hate the o-line talent in this front end of the draft. I like Simmons too. I just feel like we have too many issues with depth to be talking about trading away high day 2 picks

I would only trade up if it were pick 9 or 10 or 11. We could probably get there with 15, a 3rd rounder and a player or future pick. Anything further is too much

We shouldn’t be trading up at all IMO

Getting back to the OPs original question.....

I'm a huge fan of Murray. The more I study him the more I like him. Al Wilson is actually a very good comparison for him. He's a natural leader. If you want to find him during a game, just look for the ball. He's always around it. His work ethic and dedication is ridiculous. He watched 4-6 hours of film every day in college. The guy is a football junkie. Good size, great speed, and good instincts. You can build a D around him. I also haven't been able to find any flaws in his character. His family adopted 3 younger special needs children that he helped raise. Would I be upset if Denver spent the 15th pick in the draft on him? Not one bit.
