I’m going to attempt my 1st live stream on Wednesday, March 18th, at about 7pm AZ time (Because most of the rest of the country is on day light saving time, the Pacific Time Zone has attached itself to AZ). The reason that I need to do this test is, although half of all Autistics are computer geniuses, I’m part of the other half. Learning new tech frustrates me, especially when no one has the time to sitting with me and use verbal dialog to explain everything. This is my #1 learning method in the 1st place, but I don’t know anyone with sufficient tech knowledge of this who has the time to do this for me.
Nevertheless, its past time for me to get started with this because:
1) Trying to be my own IT guy in preparation of my presentations that I give at the monthly discussion group has resulted in mistakes that have ruined many of the videos.
2) I don’t have time, nor do I have a work schedule that will accommodate going, to go to the public library in order to upload my videos in a reasonable amount of time.
3) I desire audience interaction during my presentations because it gives me the opportunity to make them as relevant to the audience as possible.
4) This blasted Corona virus has the potential to wipe out some major projects that I have planned. Live streaming options may be my only hope of not canceling them.
Some of the specific questions that I would like answered before I do my test broadcast are:
1) Once I go live, would linking what I see in my browser bar when I open the live steam window (https://www.facebook.com/jason.bunnparsons.1) to the invitation post (https://www.facebook.com/events/555755381958994/?active_tab=about) enable those who want to participate to simply go there when it’s time to start?
2) Is there a specific webinar product that would let me to live stream the presentation on FB at the same time?
