I love movies. I was thinking today about Joker and if it had already made my favorite flicks list, and I think it has. So then I started thinking what that list would entail and here it is in no particular order

The Big Lebowski
Fargo
O'Brother Where Art Thou
No Country for Old Men
Pulp Fiction
Jaws
True Romance
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
The Life of Pi
Joker
Hell or High Water
Reservoir Dogs

So a lot of Coen Bros. and some Tarantino.

What is your list?

LotR is the best movie trilogy in existence.

Godfather I and II are arguably two top five movies ever.

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is good stuff. I haven't seen Road to Perdition in a long, long time, but it was excellent

That is a great movie.

I watched See No Evil Hear No Evil with my son a few weeks ago, he thought it was the funniest thing he's ever seen.

I might have mentioned this before in another thread at some point, but one of my greatest/strongest childhood memories was of watching Naked Gun with my father. I had seen it before, but he hadn't, and watching him watch it was hilarious. He had this crazy infectious way of laughing that just magnified every funny scene in that movie by 100. It got to the point where I was simply watching him watch the movie and enjoying it more than the movie itself.

That's probably a big part of why I love that movie so much. Don't get me wrong, the money is funny as ****, and the reason why my Dad was laughing so hard, but the constructive interference/feedback loop of him laughing at the baseball scene and me laughing at him was such that I think it's the only time in my life I was actually in danger of peeing myself with laughter.
