The original Survival League format is where you pick 1 team that you are going to guarantee to win that week. If you get it right, you survive to the next week. If you don't, you won't. Furthermore, once you pick at team as your guaranteed winner, you can never pick them again throughout the rest of the season. This was popular for a short time, but people lost interest in it because it was literally a 1 strike and your out format. So, I have adjusted the settings so you you’re not eliminated unless you get 3 strikes. Hopefully, this will get participation back up to what it used to be.

Sorry for the delay, between me injuring my wrist at work a couple weekend ago & a lot of good things coming together for me in my personal life, I’ve been quite preoccupied the past few weeks.

As far as me guessing wrong that Ziggy would win the tie breaker, I think instead of treating this week’s 2nd Monday night game as the final game of the week & the 1st game as the 2nd to last game of the week (a distinction usually held by the Sunday night game), Yahoo! treated THE 1st Monday night game as the Monday night game & the 2nd as THE OTHER game.

Yes, I got my 1st strike by 2 points when the 0-4 Jets upset the Cowboys 3-2. Note that my strike was the result of a winless team beating a 3-2 team. Your 1st strike was when the 0-4 Broncos lost, and your 2nd strike was when the 1-4 Falcons lost. Although I was surprised when the Cowboys lost, but I wasn't the least bit surprised when our Broncos and Falcons lost. If you play again in the future, you might want to have higher standards for what teams you pick.

Having won the championship several times, I know that you have risk jumping in front of speeding freight trains in order to cross the tracks before getting splattered if you want to win it all. Sometimes you miss judge the speed of the train and get splattered anyways just like what happened to me when the Jets upset the Cowboys, but I'd never just in front of the train as closely as you did when you got splattered unless I had no choice. Having pick almost all mediocre teams so far, I still have all the legitimate SB contenders & most of the legitimate play-off contenders available to me. So I've good reason to believe that I most likely won't have to make that choice.

I've never made it past week 13, which means that I tied my all-time best this year. However, as long as you keep picking correctly, you can keep going all the way to the SB. The question that I can't find the answer to in the rules that I've read, will they unlock the teams that you already used to this point who made the play-offs. If not, the Texans are the only team left whom you can pick this week, then you'll be officially eliminated next week when you can't make a pick because you've already taken all of the rest of the play-off teams in previous weeks.
