How did Ty Law get in the HOF? Was he that good? I really don't know, this ain't a criticism.

He didn’t deserve to get in over a lot of other guys and is a product of being a three-time Super Bowl champion.

I don't think I agree with that. They literally had to change the rules of how defense is played because of what he did to Peyton Manning. He was an unbelievable player.

He was a fine player and mugged receivers at the line and helped bring in the passing era we’re in, but like I said, there are a lot of players that deserve to be in over him. Like Cowboys from the 70s and 90s and Steelers of the 70s, his HOF candidacy is a result of how good his team was. I don’t necessarily think he doesn’t deserve to be in, just that others, more deserving, were again left out to put him in.

Ty Law deserves it in my opinion. But ive heard people (even Bronco fans) that feel that Bailey didnt so take that for what its worth. Different people will have different opinions on those players and whether they belong. I think both Law and Bailey deserve to be there.

Denver Broncos legend, Ty Law.

Preceded last year by Denver Broncos legend, Brian Dawkins. Josh McDaniels assembled a Hall of Fame secondary!

Bailey was like Revis...except Bailey didn't have double standards when it came to physicality. I watched Revis time after time get away with murder when he covered WRs with burning speed. And, unlike Revis, Bailey didn't shy away from big ball carriers.

Why do I bring up Revis? Because he was the consensus 'best cover corner' since Deion. And that's B.S. - it's Champ Bailey.

I think Revis got more hype, it was Champ who that got the most respect. Least, that’s how I remember it.

Revis was a slow version of Champ Bailey, and anyone who thinks Revis was the superior player can shit and fall back in it - Abraham Lincoln.

Only Deion Sanders was better than Champ. Second greatest corner to ever walk the earth. That 2004-06 run after the trade was insane.

Whose consensus?

Bailey was better. One of the best athletes I have seen. For much of his career, he was the fastest player on the field and the quickest. I still feel he was robbed for the 2006 Defensive Player of the Year. The most amazing performance by a defensive back I remember. He had 10 interceptions, 21 passes defensed, 86 tackles and quarterbacks generally avoided him.

Best cover corner not named Deion.

Revis hated run blocking. I remember him avoiding Tebow when he was running he disnt want to try and tackle him. Dude was a fraud, best player on the NYJ for some time so it was easy for him to stand out amongst a pile of trash.

You have to be multi dimensinal to be the best.

all this. . . they barely even threw at him in '06, and he still got ten picks. . . more than prime ever had in a season. . .

law was a damn fine player-- he wasn't close to champ's level. . . hardly anyone is. . . king, stop blaming champ for del rio's blunders. . . not 24's fault that his coach kept putting a corner with a bad wheel alone against the fastest guy on the other team with no help over the top. . . even deion played nickel at the end of his career, in baltimore. . .

I love when a player has the guts and grace to saddle up wounded and accept failure. Coach's choice to play an injured player. Sometimes it's a tough call, easy to hindsight.

That's how he played that entire season, and he played at an elite level. Failures go where they go. Don't rose tint it - also realize that I must defend my boy CHJ from Jaded.
