Maybe this is a bit early and all, but I don't care. :D

I got Denver going 12-4 and winning the division, probably on tiebreakers.

What say you?

8-8 to 10-6. Schedule doesn’t look too daunting now. I’m sure one or two of those teams will be better than we thought and one or two will be worse.

Colts and Texans on the road might be good indicators of if this team is a playoff team or not.

Getting rid of VJ alone is the biggest upgrade. Fangio would havr to fail EPICLY to not be an upgrade

19-0 with the Broncos winning every game by at least 3 touchdowns. Lindsay has 2000 yards, Sutton has at least 10 touchdowns, 100 receptions, and a 1000 yards. Von Miller has 30 sacks, Chubb has 20 sacks, CHJ has 10 interceptions. Anthony Lynn gets fired by the Chargers week 13 after losing 63-0.

Denver's :defense: holds their division rivals to less then 20 points in at least 4 of the 6 games

Both Von Miller & Bradly Chubb have multiple sacks in 4 of the 6 division rival games, they'll both have multiple sacks in 2 of those games.

Honest take?

10-6 or 11-5. Coaching, along with Flacco and all the other pieces on offense and defense are going to make this team a contender.

This is an honest take, but admittedly I'm pandering to Beef as well...

Dominant defense will abound again in the Mile High city. The offensive line will be much improved, and the Broncos will have real NFL caliber coaches. The only drawback to this season is that the team is learning a new system on both sides of the ball.

After a slow start to the season, the Broncos go 12-4 and are the team that no one wants to face in the playoffs.

I'm gonna say 9-7 with a chance of a wild card.

I see 8-8 to 9-7. The defensive improvements look great on paper and should give offenses lots of problems - but I'd have to imagine it will take some time to find the offense to find itself with a new QB, Sanders coming back from the achilles, whatever Lindsey's status winds up being early, and Fant new to the NFL.

First five games are Raiders away, Bears at home, Packers away, Jags at home, and the Bolts in their laughingstock of a soccer stadium. I think they drop 3 of these games and hover around .500 all year with that start and are on the outside looking in on the playoffs.

Wild card is Flacco, obviously. If he comes out hot and with a chip on his shoulder, bonds with Sutton and Fant immediately - with the defense in place it could get a lot more interesting. The odds are against it though.

8-8, we have young talent at the skill positions on Offense but you never know how they will perform in the beginning of their careers. The defense will keep us in games, but I see some missed opportunities on offense in critical situations just due to the youth at WR and RB/TE.

I need to see the offense in the preseason before I can really weigh in. We could be as good as 12-4 or as bad as 8-8. Flacco and more specifically scangs will determine how good we are. I am very leery about he and his system. Knowing in what situations to call plays, not be predictable, maybe FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CALL A SCREEN TO THE RB everyonce in a while, know what the defense will likely do and attack it. All that. I am fearful he will not have that.

Until I see how we look I will take the middle of 10-6.

i see seven to nine wins. . . fangio almost has to be better than VJ, but there will be a learning curve. . . new head coach, new OC, new DC, new schemes on both sides of the ball-- and the HC and OC are both first timers. . . i love what we did in the draft and free agency, and especially love the addition of munchak. . . it's going to take some time, though-- and we still don't have a quality starter in place at QB. . . i like the rest of the pieces on offense, but IMO we're probably still a year away on that side of the ball, unless lock gets in there and goes bananas. . . i will be super disappointed if we don't have a top five defense, but against a tough schedule, i'm not sure that will be enough to land a playoff berth. . .

conclusion-- i like the way we're trending, but i expect this to be a transition year, not a break-out year. . . i really just want to see von and chubb f*** up some QB's lives. . .

It’s kind of bad elway hired Vance to begin with.

That might have been Elway's greatest failure -- hiring VJ instead of Kyle Shanahan. But, they wanted to keep a bunch of assistant coaches from the Kubiak era and Joe Woods was going to be the next great DC so we didn't need Wade Phillips don't you know! :tsk:
