Thats what it will cost for Haskins at number 1.

If Elway had loaded up on draft picks then I could see that as possibility, but since he didn't I don't think he will do something that will have ripple effect into the 2020 draft.

Haskins isnt that good to move up for anyway, he is not a once in a lifetime player.

I'm open to vigorous tanking.

But, we got rid of VJ, so that's harder.

I really believe this team is going to be marked improvement in all areas, with improved OLine play and fundamentals. No more of VJs regular no shows. But Keenum needs to be pushed.out of the job.

How about 2 firsts and a 5th and We move back and take a CB and Grier.

Grier I like better anyway.

We might contend for a WC. I'd tank a WC caliber season for a god tier QB prospect.

Then I hope that we will pony up picks (like that) for a prospect the following year.

We wont need too. There are plenty of really good QBs this year.

We will take one in the first 2 rounds I bet anything. And of those QBs (so far) I am quite happy with all of them.

The trade chart is outdated. There were some deals the last 2 years that ignored it altogether.

Maybe not, we simply dont know at this point.

I will tell you this: He looks better to me than all the draft picks in last years draft. Id take him over Baker, Rosen, Allen, Darnold.

He reminds me of Big Ben, but way more poised and productive.

I dont like giving up the house for QBs..............but he is WAY over the other QBs in this draft to me and I would give up the cache to get him.

Yeah...we have agreed on a lot but not this time. All G.

You know I respect yours as well and in the end all these QBs have shown themselves well enough to get the look from the NFL.

No different than talent scouts evaluating and seeing different things.

I also loved what I saw of Sloter in college, big time.

Thing is, a man who trades up needs to be sure of what hes doing because if hes wrong.......it can set a franchise back years.

With our luck, John will give up the house to get a QB that doesnt pan out, but we sign an undrafted free agent that becomes our franchise signal caller for the next 15 yrs. lol

Haskins passes the eye test and more. Poise. Accuracy. Makes plays on the move. Steps up into pocket under heavy rush, delivers pass. Quick draw.
Poise. Makes plays. Poise. Accuracy. Makes plays. Leadership. Arm.

They both have big question marks. Haskins is extremely talented and his accuracy is off the charts, but didnt handle pressure well at times.

Lock has the laser arm and showed maturity by coming back to learn more pro style sets but his inaccuracy and low completion percentage scare me.

As they should.

Anyone who drafts a QB who was inaccurate at the college level deserves what he gets.

In this league, accuracy is a must.
