Broncos to wear Color Rush uniforms vs. Steelers

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — When the Broncos welcome the Steelers to Broncos Stadium at Mile High on Sunday, they’ll show off their Color Rush uniforms at home for the first time.

During the previous two seasons, teams wore their Color Rush jerseys during “Thursday Night Football” appearances. But the NFL changed its policy in 2018, and teams were allowed to choose when they would wear their Color Rush jerseys.

After showing off the all-orange threads in San Diego in 2016 and in Indianapolis in 2017, the Broncos will don the uniforms at home on Sunday.

The orange jerseys are paired with a throwback helmet decal that showcases the Broncos’ former logo.

The Broncos are 1-1 wearing their Color Rush jerseys after a 25-13 win vs. the Colts in 2017 evened their record in the jerseys.

Denver has already worn alternate uniforms against the Chiefs in Week 4, and they’ll break out the blue jerseys again in Week 15 against Cleveland.

The Broncos kick off against the Steelers at 2:25 p.m. MT in a game that will air on CBS.

I will agree that the orange on orange is just too much...they look like freaking traffic cones...It's my biggest issue with the uni's. Orange with white pants would be amazing and I would make that our full time uni personally, but that helmet would look amazing with the blue on blue jerseys.
