Demaryius Thomas posts thank you message for Bronco Nation, teammates, coaches and fans

After being traded to the Houston Texans earlier in the week, Demaryius Thomas is on his way back to Denver for a visit — and this time he is going to be wearing a new logo while playing with new teammates alongside him.

Thomas was a fan favorite here in Denver during his nine-year career and had the stats to back it up. He finished third in receptions with 665, trailing only Shannon Sharpe (675) and Rod Smith (849). Thomas finished second in career yards receiving with the Broncos at 9,055; only Smith (11,389) had more. Broncos fans need not forget DT scored 60 touchdowns for the orange and blue, ranking second all-time behind Smith, who had 68.

Before his return to Mile High, Thomas took to Instagram with a note for his teammates, coaches, the Broncos organization and the fans.

Gonna go out on a limb and say we never get anythung near his production from that 4th rounder. I understand he business side but he was a warrior for us and the general lack of appreciation for all he did and battled through is frustrating. The anti diva in an age where diva is almost a given at the position.

He damn near cost them the game there at the end. I kinda put that on obrien though. I get the feeling they scripted and heavily practiced those few plays he got to start the game, and after that he basically disappeared. Probably shouldn't have had DT out there in crunch time when he didn't know where to line up.
