The Broncos cut wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie and promoted fellow receiver River Cracraft from the practice squad to the 53-man roster on Friday, according to The Athletic’s Nicki Jhabvala (https://twitter.com/NickiJhabvala/status/1058424423131308032).

Denver needed more depth at receiver after trading Demaryius Thomas to the Texans and ruling out DaeSean Hamilton for Sunday’s game with a knee injury. McKenzie is technically a receiver but the Broncos use him primarily as a return specialist (he had no receptions in his lone appearance this year).

I’m surprised the P*triots haven’t stolen Cracraft off Denver’s PS by now.

He’s having a decent day with buffalo. 45 yds on O and 75 as a returner. Our 2017 draft was full on dumpster fire full of flaming shit

Oh, you exaggerate.

First round #20 Garrett Bolles. Awesome! Never had a penalty!

Round 2, No. 51: DeMarcus Walker. Who? I keep forgetting he's on this team for all the impact he's had.

Round 3, No. 82: Carlos Henderson, WR. But he had lots of "potential!" Out of the league altogether. Now that's some serious free fall!

Round 3, No. 101 overall: Brendan Langley. Langley's a bust which led to the pick of Yiadom in the 3rd round making back to back 3rd round CB selections. That was not actually the plan. But, Langley basically is worthless, another reason they picked up Packman Jones.

Round 5, No. 145: Jake Butt, TE, Michigan. Two knee re-constructions later he's still barely seen the field in 2 seasons and they can't count on him for next year either.

Round 5, No. 172: Isaiah McKenzie. Who can resist shouting "hurrah! for this pick!"

Round 6, No. 203: De'Angelo Henderson. No comment.

Round 7, No. 253: Chad Kelly. Sigh.
