Some people grow up in time to take advantage of their good fortune in life, and some don't. It's hard to let "Breaking into peoples' houses while drunk" guy be the face of your franchise when he hasn't started for you yet. Either he was high as a MFer, or this is related to a woman, or maybe both.

So the reports are the Chad Kelly came into the house and sat next to someone and mumbled incoherently. That story could've gone a few different ways if he had done the same thing to some of the posters here. Shane would've let him sleep it off, and GEM would have beat the shit out of him for partying with a game coming up. Davii would've him killed him twice before he even opened the door. No, even if he escapes the charges of illegal entrance, he's going to rehab. As a 7th round QB, there is no reason for the team to stick with him. His career may be effectively finished thanks to this.

I'm not worried about it, but apparently people are making a big deal about it. The musical entertainer sang a song about cocaine called coco and the entire party was put together by Von Miller.
Apparently according to some, there are also some damning pictures from the party that are floating around that could cause problems for the team potentially (though this has yet to have been substantiated and is hearsay until proven otherwise)

I don't think he's a bad person. I think he has bad problems. But when your bad problems start to hurt others it has to be taken care of. He probably scared the hell out of those people. Kelly is a big strong man. While it sounds like he was half-comatose there's no way the family could find him non-threatening. But Kelly isn't a monster. He had, from the sounds of it, no malice or hatred in his heart. That should be considered, too.
I hope they show him mercy. Not because he's a talent or in the NFL, but because he isn't a bad person and because he has a problem. And I hope that the mercy shown to him doesn't just speed up his path back to the NFL (assuming there is one) but speeds up his ability to get his life in order. Prison isn't great at rehabbing anyone, but neither is a wild NFL lifestyle.

I agree with that specific aspect. It's just not a good look for the team regardless. It would be fine on its own, but adding the mess chad kelly made into it, it could present an unpleasant look for the team, especially as presented.

Once is a mistake, twice is a choice. Kelly was making bad choices before this, and going into someones house whacked out of your mind is a bad choice. Not only that, it sounds like in the state he was in he was willing to drive home putting himself and others in dangers. So yeah, what he did was pretty bad. I'd laugh if Kelly walked into my house high as a kite, but I would want to kill him personally if he hit me and my family in my car while impaired. He is lucky he was arrested when he was.

He got charged with criminal trespassing man, which he well....did. Nobody is trying to crucify the guy like he murdered a bus full of crippled widows and their babies or some shit. It is what It is. He got ****** up at a party, wandered into a stranger's house likely freaking them out and then passed out in his car. He's a 7th round pick with a history of substance abuse. Criminal Trespassing is a felony. He has a history of substance abuse. Chad is in trouble with the law and probably the league. It just is what it is.
