I haven't seen an ass kicking promise from Von yet. Sorta making me nervous. But it's still early in the week.

lol. . . booker needs to play LESS, not more. . . with stewart banged up, they should take the opportunity to get parks more reps-- may as well see if he can handle the spot, stewart clearly isn't a long term answer there. . . i sure as hell won't hold my breath, but we may even get cravens back at some point, as well. . .

He's averaging nearly 4 yards a carry and 8 yards per catch. When called upon this year, he's done pretty well.

Yeah, I'm torn. I don't think the Broncos are as bad as they've played, but I think the Chiefs might be as good as they have played. Even though the Chief's defense stinks, I'm not sure the Broncos offense can keep up.

Elway really liked Grayson coming out of CSU but the Saints dropped a 3rd rd pick on him. I was hoping he’d do well with the Saints but obviously not. Maybe he can resurrect himself here.

No. That’s not even close to what I’m saying. I’m saying all the Macy’s QBs are taken, the Walmart QBs are taken, we’re left with that metal cage type bin on the left as you walk into the Dollar Tree.

The one filled with stuffed animals made in China and most likely containing toxic chemicals that will give your dog a seizure if you let them chew on it too long. Somebody MIGHT have accidentally put one of the 3$ toys in that bin but chances are it’s just a cheap knockoff.

This seems like pretty valuable information if I were an offensive coordinator. Would expect Andy Reid to be dialed in to these comments.

Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. told Lindsay Jones of The Athletic that his Fitbit tracker he wears on game days showed he ran nearly 15 miles when he played against the Chiefs. He said he couldn’t remember a time when the tracker showed him at more than 11 miles.

“In that game, that was the worst I’ve ever felt,” Harris said. “Just physically, I was drained. I had no burst, I was just done.”

True, but he's been underwhelming in the pros under a pretty solid offensive mind (Payton) That doesn't bode well. Who knows, He'll get a shot at proving his value in 2019. Unless Keenum gets injured, he'll ride the rest of the year on the practice squad I would assume.

The entire defense looked gassed last time around. Part of that was the fact that the chiefs offense is so fast, part of it was the fact that our offense was very inept going into the game.

Denver didn’t treat him like they have treated other mobile quarterbacks. They did not game plan to keep him in the pocket, which resulted in him scrambling ALOT to buy time.

I would expect Von and Chubb to spend most of the game setting the edge while we try to collapse the middle.

“Needed” might be a stretch. We’ve gotten by with Jones not returning kicks. Honestly not even sure he’s active this week. And going into next week, Cravens will probably be back (maybe Jordan Taylor too). I expect more roster shuffling

If we ran an offense similar to what we ran with plummer, Keenum would be very serviceable. It fits his strengths nicely, but our coaching staff isn't smart enough to recognize this.

Poet
10-25-2018, 09:14 PM
We stop running the ball because we get behind and it becomes harder to do so. That's what makes it hard to do PA passes. And, at a certain point teams can just stack the box and dare Keenum to beat them.

Keenum makes the run game worse more than the run game can make him better.

Al Wilson 4 Mayor
10-26-2018, 12:18 PM
Would you please explain your stance?

We want to collapse the pocket and set the edge against a quarterback like that. It forces him to get rid of the ball quickly and doesn’t give him an outside lane to run to.

Chubb would be very good at rushing from the 5 or 3 tech in a nickel defense because of his size and explosiveness.
