I saw people talking in the other thread so we might as well start this one. We only have two days to complain before the actual game.

We played the Cardinals in week four of the preseason on a Thursday night ... and now we’re playing them in another meaningless game on a Thursday night. Yeah!

You can ascribe whatever meaning to this game that you want. I guess it’s not meaningless though - if we lose, I don’t expect VJ to make it through the weekend

It has all kinds of meaning. In fact, I'd say this is the most important game of the year so far, for multiple reasons.

Meaningless game? Nah, this is important to Broncos. Broncos are 1-1 against NFC West. If they win this game... the record would be 2-1 and they could go for 3-1 in San Francisco. It would look good on Broncos' record and they could win a tiebreaker in AFC West. Never know. :salute:

Lol. I don't think you have to worry about us being involved in any tiebreakers in the AFC West. Also, there is no specific tiebreaker having to do with your record against teams from the other conference. In fact, if you are going to lose games, you'd rather lose to NFC teams because most of the tiebreakers have to do with divisional record and conference record.

Again, if he is only NOW on fire, then I'm more irritated with him than impressed. Ultimately, words are cheap. So is "intensity".

I get what your saying for sure. Have wondered where the passion/intensity/fire has been the past 4 weeks too. I don't think VJ knows what any of those words are, or mean. :eek: Sad really that they brought in a guy that hadn't even proven he could be a DC and made him HC.
