People asking why Broncos are opening camp later than most: It's based on 1st preseason game. Teams get same # of practices leading into game 1. Broncos usually played game 1 on Thursday as 24 teams do this year. Broncos one of 4 teams who don't play week 1 til Saturday. #9sports

We are stacked at WR. We do not need anymore. At all. I am still trying to figure out how some are going to make the squad. Lazy reporting there.

Diarse and Bell are sleepers of mine. Especially Diarse! Bell is excellent at ST and returning punts and kicks. I wanted us to draft him a few years ago. Diarse is a big guy who moves well and he just Skys high for the ball. He is one of the few wr that will almost always go up and get the ball at it highest point. I really like him and am pulling for him.

We do not need any other WR, even with henderson out. If it is SUCH a big dea (which it is not) put the CU kid, the cfa kid at WR for a moment.

Sounds like the Philly Brown thing is happening, just not official yet. I'm guessing they expect Henderson to not be back, or at least for a while. I think he's done here - he knew he had to step up and now he won't even be on the field at TC. Next.

McKenzie very likely in trouble too, given all the WR depth we have now. He'll probably manage to hang around and be back returning punts by the time the season starts though.

Klemko is entitled to his opinion but so is Mason who said Lynch had a good day. Just sayin. I wouldn't be surprised if Lynch is still the number #2 going into season and not because he was a first round pick. Looking back at Mason's comments from the first five days it looks like Lynch is having a good camp. I know a lot people hope Lynch just utterly fail, I for one don't and I hope he continues to improve.

Some of my thoughts

-first. i dont get why Mckenzie is on the team. Sure he is fast. But who isnt in the NFL?

The guy has the worst hands i have ever seen. Kelly threw him a beautiful touchdown pass and it bounches OFF HIS CHEST.

-Second. Watching Chad play on 3rd team with a center that cant even snap the ball to him was painful. Thanks for your thoughts on camp Shane. For someone who has been huge Kelly supporter it looks like you were trying fair-minded about what you saw. I don't doubt that they (the coaching staff) trying to put him in the best position for Lynch to win the job. I don't think they're just going to handed to him. Lynch and Kelly are going to the team but the greater pressure is on Lynch given his draft status.

Klemko is entitled to his opinion but so is Mason who said Lynch had a good day. Just sayin. I wouldn't be surprised if Lynch is still the number #2 going into season and not because he was a first round pick. Looking back at Mason's comments from the first five days it looks like Lynch is having a good camp. I know a lot people hope Lynch just utterly fail, I for one don't and I hope he continues to improve.

The Broncos went from having one of the worst WR groups depth wise too probably the best WR group. Sutton and Hamilton along with the Patrick guy is very intriguing. I also love the RB group its going to be awesome.

Roby is a proven veteran Den so no I don't think he's being exposed as a bad corner. Besides that I don't think it's just Roby he's beaten I thin he's also beaten Harris Roby he's beaten Harris. Sutton us just a freak of nature.

Sutton is a handful. The pass was thrown short and Roby was caught when Sutton turned back for it. I wouldn’t be too alarmed with Roby, just a great adjustment made by Sutton.

The way he highpoints almost reminds me of Calvin Johnson, and DT a few years ago. We’ll see if DT is invigorated by the young stallion and a quarterback with decent ball placement

On offense;
Case Keenum is the unquestioned leader here obviously. Out of the gate getting 2 completions to Thomas. He is quick going through his reads and getting the ball out accurately. Later in practice it looked like he threw a ball short to Sutton, but it was probably was on purpose because Sutton came back for it to make a big play on Roby.

At times the defense was stopping them too and getting pressure. It's hard to judge whats really happening as I can see the defensive players having to back off once they are getting pressure close to the QB. I see far fewer big plays if full contact was happening, so it will be good to see live action once the games start.

Paxton's first pass went into the dirt again today. I couldn't tell if it was tipped, but was likely the cause. He does make some nice throws. but has some hiccups in between... like a fumbled snap followed by a pass to Tim Patrick for 15 yards. It looks like he's really working on going through his reads. He's just not going through them as fast as Keenum does. He can get out of a Jam with his legs though. Lets see if he can do it more though when people are really hitting in games though.

Chad Kelly is where he should be now as the 3rd QB. The talent is there, he's just got a ways to go yet. Very up and down! At least the there is the upside. It will be interesting to see him in a game. Maybe he'll be a gamer right away, but I think there will be growing pains.

Running backs; it's a little hard for me to see a big difference between them. They aren't being hit hard enough now. Janovich is right in the mix though... something I have not heard from anywhere else. Dave Williams Bobbled a catch. Someone has to be on the outside looking in, and he could very well be one of them at this point.

Receivers; Sutton!! Wow. Tim Patrick caught my attention several times. I think he makes the team. Thomas and Sanders look solid. Better than they have for a while now.

The line looks like they are holding up fairly well. Hard to tell when a lot of the action is across the field. Keenum was flushed out of the pocket a couple times, but I don't see our right tackle getting blown up right away either.

The Defense is making plays and causing havoc too. They gave up some plays, here again, in live game situations, you would see the tackle being made at the line, or the QB being hit more often. I wasn't able to pay close attention to individual play... Marshall had a nice pass defended. Wish I had more to say here.

King; Wow! I did see 1 bad kick, but other than that Wow! Accuracy is just as impressive as his distance and hang time

The Broncos went from having one of the worst WR groups depth wise too probably the best WR group. Sutton and Hamilton along with the Patrick guy is very intriguing. I also love the RB group its going to be awesome.

The defense calls Yiadom there little pit bull! Which is awesome :) dude's going to creep into that 3 spot sooner than later, I am hoping Langley can put it together and showcase that elite size and speed.

I'm rooting for Tim Patrick. Good player at Utah, possession receiver, reliable but still has speed. Never had QB's that were great at getting him the ball but made plays anyways. Biggest problem was he couldn't stay healthy.

Thoughts on the #Broncos with practice over. The offense with Keenum will be a lot fun this season. What I saw last week carried over to today. Crisp and smooth. The defense has taken that Will Parks pick-six a few days ago and built off it. Kelly needs reps w/twos.

The Broncos are ******* fooling themselves with the Lynch bs. ******* dude was 3 and out over and over today. He had 1 good pass on the day. Kelly started off kind of cool, but got much better. 2 td's in a row. It's a ******* embarrassment that lynch is running with the 2's, makes the Broncos look stupid daily. He had no poise in the pocket, still looks lousy and first break he breaks down and runs to nowhere. Terrible, and the fact he's still on the roster, ******* BLAH!

I'm worried about secondary. They were consistently a step below receivers. We're going to see a pretty big drop off from talib. Roby looked good but he was no talib.

Dline got pressure on both qb's.

Impressed with Lindsey. Hope he makes the 53.

Punter was coffin kicking to between the 3 and 7 over and over. Impressive.
