View Full Version : Trade VJ

VJ is a true leader of men.

He is the perfect leader for a young team that lacks leadership. With one of the youngest teams in the NFL (by average age of player), Cleveland could use a leader. In fact, I feel like they would pay a premium to get a true leader to lead their men.

From the Broncos perspective, losing so much leadership would hurt, but VJ’s value will never be higher as he is poised to lead men well into the next decade.

It makes too much sense for a trade not to happen. So I would like to lead a discussion about the following proposed trade: Cleveland’s first round pick straight up for our leader of men.

This makes sense because Cleveland is the only team with a coach who might actually be more incompetent than ours. It's basically them or Buffalo. Everyone else will laugh at us (like, more than they already are I mean).

I'll miss those pithy t-shirts he makes everyone wear.

Honestly at this point i think Jackson is a massive upgrade over VJ. Remember, not a ringing endorsement for Jackson, just a better option than VJ.

I would rather Shanny come back tho if we were desperate and if we are dreaming

I'd be great with that trade.

Can we get both of Cleveland's first round picks? If not I'd settle for a bag of partially deflated football's signed by Tom "2nd place" Brady.

How badly do you think John Elway regrets not hiring Kyle Shanahan right now? Maybe Shanahan didn't want to come here where anything less than 2 SB championships means he didn't measure up to his father's legacy.

But, they should have tried desperately to hire him. Because right now there is not the slightest doubt that Denver made the wrong choice when they chose VJ.

And I am not one calling for him to be fired. I think that was the right decision to bring him back and give him another chance. Coaches around the league cannot get the impression that Elway is a "coach killer" where nobody can work with him for long and coaches are changing in Denver every 2 years.

But, this year, they have to do a lot better, or Sayonara!

What must be done eventually should be done immediately.

if we were gonna roll like that, we shoulda fired VJ the day after the season. . . then we could've hired frank reich. . .

at this point, i think it's wise to hold out for that first overall pick in exchange for vance. . .

If we asked for both of Cleveland's first round picks, they would jump at it.

Sincerely,

Mike Klis

I wish you would step back from that ledge my friend,
You could cut ties with all the lies, that you've been living in,
And if you do not want to see me again, I would understand.

By this logic you would have to fire every single coach and GM in the NFL because they are all going to be fired eventually.

I don't think Buff has that kind of authority.

If we make a deal with Cleveland it must involve Colquitt.
