Looks like a relatively favorable one, as reported:
Home opponents: Browns, Chargers, Chiefs, Raiders, Rams, Seahawks, Steelers, Texans
Away opponents: 49ers, Bengals, Cardinals, Chargers, Chiefs, Raiders, Ravens, Jets
Doesn't matter if we keep Joseph

I have a history of being supportive of head coaches.
But I intuitively feel you're right on this one . . .
Recent seasons have shown that the interseason predictions are that the Browns and Jets will remain terrible. Between FA and the opaque insanity the Competition Committee has made of the rules, stability is hard to preserve. So there's really no way to tell if our 2018 schedule is good, bad or indifferent right now. Finishing last in our division should help since it means we get to play three other AFC teams who did the same, while (for example) the Chiefs face the other three AFC division champs.
However, the fact remains we're in our sixteenth season of seeing how little difference that makes in any teams record improving/declining from one year to the next.

No Pats? Wow.
No Pats? Wow.
They won their division and we didn't; as long as that's true, we'll only play them every third year. As it happens, this was our AFCE year, so the next is 2020.
