Apparently chicken poop soup isn’t as easy as he remembers it being.

Randy Fichner...

Maybe Adam Gase becomes available...

If Adam Gase is available and Vance "great week of practice" Johnson is still our HC I'm gonna freak the **** out.

Maybe if McCoy was spending his time as OC instead of Center, then we might be doing better.

I like Fichner, he’s a huge spread guy but Pitt is as balanced and “multiple” as any team in the NFL. He’s coached their WR’s, including Eman, and he’s coached Big Ben, all to great success.

Tebow made that guys career.

He had a terrible O here with tebow. Terrible O in SD with rivers. and now another terrible O here in Denver again.

He had the No. 4 offense in the league. And Tebow wasn't the QB.

Then he had the No. 5 offense in the league the next year. And Tebow wasn't the QB.

So try again.

Only one was with Peyton Manning. And why wouldn't that count? Because it doesn't support your argument?

ShaneFalco

Because peyton was more of an OC.

And nobody was ever threatened by Rivers with him. So thats bunk.

So the team was frustrated with Kubiacks offense last year for being to simple and old, and now they are frustrated with McCoy's for being to complex and modern. Sounds it isn't the offense but the players.

As he should be, he tried warning everyone...I'm not sure how everyone forgot how much we hated Mike McCoy the first time around...

It's like he had one of those flashy thingys from Men in Black and just erased our memory of everything other than the fact that he made Tebow look passable.

Why would that count? Everyone knows that Peyton makes the calls at the line in most instances, he is in essence the offensive coordinator. He made Mike McCoy's job incredibly easy for him by doing his job...

I don't get how people don't grasp that fact.

Rick
11-20-2017, 09:37 AM
Being able to throw something together out of the Tebow offense may have contributed but it isn't what got him the job at SD.

He was offered after the record breaking year with Manning.

I would say it was more a case of SD hoping to have that Manning offense brought to SD to work with Rivers.

While I would agree that McCoy rode Manning to his HC job, it was as a result of that year that he was offered.

FOX pregame had mentioned the Jaguars success, and said Tom Coughlin is a big reason for it.

Shane is not wrong. Without the Tebow thing Mccoy is and was a nobody. Tebow made his whole career. But then again, I spotted this like 6 years ago and only now has the NFL finally figured it out.

By accident because the Steelers used terrible defense against him, while the Patriots showed the world how it is done.

But, what is the point of arguing with un-reconstructed Tebow-heads. You win sir! Obviously Tebow would have won multiple championships if only the 32 teams that fill the NFL weren't all morons unable to recognize his God given super-star ability! :coffee:

They thanked him by sending him to the grand stage of NY so he could inspire the masses from a much bigger platform. Like when he took off his shirt and went on a soothing jog in front of radio row during a torrential downpour. I bet Shane still faps to that bit of inspiration.

God bless.

It's a fair point. Peyton insisted on running his offense, when they didn't run it, they didn't get yardage. Then they relent and pinball that ish. It was more Gase than McCoy that got results with Manning.

And Rivers...he steps into the same kind of role with another vet. Not hard to believe he was more passenger than pilot.

If we go down this road, then we're getting to a territory where we have to say coordinators don't matter at all, and I simply don't believe that.

The quarterbacks here in Denver are bad. It starts there.

I don’t think the coaching raises the game of our QB’s. It’s not an either/or sitcb. Marginally talented, and marginal coaching. Deadly mix. And why did Semen regress? What was the variables?

(I think we miss Dennison and Kubes etc)

I don't think Siemian regressed. I think he's been pretty much the same guy the whole time. I know that will not be a popular opinion.
