There have not been many years in the last 30+ years I've been a diehard Broncos fan that I found myself wondering if winning was the best thing for the Broncos. Crap, how many losing seasons have there been over that time, four, five, maybe six (don't think it's that high)?

My heart says get a win, get back on the winning ways, put a string of wins together and make a run at a wild card slot. My head says, picking one of those weak ass QBs in next years draft class with a top five pick is better long term.

FWIW, I picked the Broncos in my office pool. Two of the last three weeks picking the Broncos cost me from winning the week.

I think for me i know that we need a bad season or two to get this team some more quality talent. Its just flat out needed at this point. I can live with Denver losing out so as long as they actually try to win the games and at least fight. I dont want to see the kind of shit ive seen the last two weeks where they look lost or like they dont care. I get more pissed at that than anything else.

Life is too short and the football season is DEFINITELY too short. I am looking forward to the game! I have to go to a dumb lunch thing with my wife's friends who never watch football and I tricked them into going to a brewery with the game on the TV! MWHAHAHAHAHA!

Let's get back on the winning track. There is no excuse to lose the the Bungles today.

I just want a game where the team stays healthy and doesn't get blown out. Go Broncos.

Here's a link to a chart party video that advocates for abandoning the kick off altogether if you have 15 minutes to spare before the game check it out. It relates to the Broncos early in the video.

I'll be very disappointed if the BRONCOS lose today.

BTW.....nice move going to the brewery. Be sure their backs are to the game, so when they're talking to you, you can be watching the game and act like you're paying attention to them when they're talking to you. :D

Now THAT is some real ingenuity! BIG thumbs up my friend! That's using the old noggin. YOU can't help it if this nice brew pub you selected for lunch just happens to accidentally have the game on, and you take the lead and accidentally make sure that you all get a table with a good view of one of the big screens!

BTW: It looks like Trevor Siemian is a game day inactive QB, so he will not dress today. Cecil Lammey points out that this marks the end of his Broncos career. They are going with Osweiler for one more game and then it's on to Paxton.

Paxton will be the only QB of the three still on the roster next year.

I didnt have the sound on because im currently watching RZ but i doubt im going to agree with. People have been clamoring for kickoffs to go away forever now but i just disagree. It has its place and has its impact on games, i still find it a very important cog in the whole system whether its field position or great plays.

Well, him too. This is what Scotty Payne at mile high report wrote last week, I'm just reading between the lines:

One reason why Osweiler will remain the Broncos quarterback is that former first-round pick Paxton Lynch (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/277134/paxton-lynch) remains sidelined with an injury(or whatever)

Lynch is throwing intermediate passes but has not been tossing deep passes just yet. Joseph indicated that they will continue to keep him sidelined until he’s 100% healthy.
Time to put my tin foil hat on here.
After Lynch suffered this shoulder injury in week 3, there were multiple reports indicating this was only a “couple week” injury and he should be back in no more than a month. Now we’re a little over two weeks away from Thanksgiving and there is no timetable for Lynch’s return? Something fishy is going on here.

My oldest son and I were watching an LSU/Arkansas game when he was about 5 yrs old. LSU was kicking ass, and I was flipping him over my shoulder onto an LSU beanbag. Anyway, long story short, he missed the beanbag once, and fractured his collar bone.

A loss today would put us in position to get a better draft pick than Indy, Miami, Tampa, Houston, Arizona, NYJ, San Diego, Oakland, Cincy...just off the top of my head. A win today would put us in position to get a worse pick than all of them, I believe.

Losing this game is crucial. A win today would be pretty disastrous. So yeah they're probably going to go ahead and win.

Brock needs to get his game back.

Texans screwed this guy up bad.

He was getting sacked on first down and just threw the ball up for grabs.

on 1st down.... not 3rd or 4th....

I never saw him do stuff like that in the past. Must have developed terrible habits in Texas.

As a fan i understand the dilemma when it comes to the Broncos and winning ballgames. But in a year where its pretty clear that they are not as good as most thought they might be i think it is a big short sighted to wish for instant gratification vs what is in the best interest of the team going forward. Even if JE goes and gets another merc at Qb next year he will still need to get the very best talent available around said player. If i had any faith that this team could make a run or was better than they look i would be all about winning out and what not. But i dont believe they have the ability nor heart to do so this year.
