At the game last night, we had 3 Green Bay couples in front of us. On this play, one of the girls started clapping and her guy says WHAT are you clapping about? She says the pi. He goes that's against us! ! It was pretty funny. On a side note, they tried getting the go pack go chant going, they were answered with louder **** the pack cheers. :D

It will then give you the option of selecting from where you have the photo saved. You can only do this from the full site. I'm not aware of a way to post photos on the mobile site.

Alright men. Prepare to mount the hypotenuse.

Ball starts at own 49 yard line, arrives at 27 yard line, 28 yards vertical.

At right hash to 2 yards off sideline, 21 yards horizontal.

When you mount the hypotenuse she will delightedly thank you for those 35 yards.

Timing trials

1.19

I'm going to toss the 1st and say 1.17.

So that's 29.9 yards per second. That's a higher speed than I got Cam on a 32 yard sideline out. Using conservative estimates of 26x20 yards brings it down to 28 yards/sec, still in the Cam/Lynch heater range.

Better arm than I expected.

Time to throw? Idk how meaningful that is that case for one play. I've always thought that was as much a reflection of the system and playcalling as it is the QB. What do you think?

Yes and no. It's also a good reflection of mechanics. His footwork and release have looked really good to me so far in the preseason. For a guy with little to no experience, it's really impressive to be able to get the ball out that fast with that much heat on it. I love that dude's release.

I feel ya. You need the right QB to be able to run a low TtT offense. If memory serves, we are talking about guys like Brady and Smith.

That play was 2.28, the TD was 2.60. That seems fine. His throw to Sharp for the TD, watching it again...perfectly placed with perfect timing.

Sure, lots of guys happen to do that. But how many of them are able to compete that forcefully from the word go? Seems like the kind of player that Pete Carroll, Mr. competition-as-mantra, would groom.

Man, this is such a no-brainer.

I said since the start of tc that he anticipates the wr and their breaks the best of all of the qbs.

If Lynch's bone bruise is nagging, maybe it will be a blessing and the Broncos will keep him. Will cost another roster cut someplace, but they also might opt to go with a vet QB, depending on who's cut next weekend.

Tned, I watched all the other preseason game highlights from week 3. I gotta say, there is a lot of truth to what you are saying about curbing enthusiasm. A lot of camp arms look good in highlights, and 3d string eval-team ain't the MFNFZ. Then again, all QBs bow to the MFNFZ.

It tempers my enthusiasm, but then I remember that all I want is to keep him in building. I think he could well make it through waivers and land on the PS. But when guys like Griese and virtually every IRL Broncos bro I talk to is full of Sloter-hype...eh. Why risk it? Especially when the existing developmental project seems learning disabled.

It's funny, 'cause I almost commented on a play like that in Sloters highlight reel, to the effect of "he does a nice job threading the needle for the TD, even though you wouldn't want him to try it in the NFL, where it's a pick." And maybe that still holds against 1st team D. On the other hand, if he's the backup he'll never see the field unless 1) Siemian bombs or gets hurt or 2) we're up by... about how much Sloter put us up against the Cardinals. ;)

Yeah, I dunno; that clip doesn't show what happened downfield before the ball got there, but if that safety was looked off it wasn't much, because he recovered and closed pretty fast. Just, y'know... not quite fast ENOUGH. ;) Like I say, it looks a lot like the... eighth pass, I think? in his YouTube highlight reel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNzyzlbOYu8); that's as far as I can get, because after looking at Eastern Washingtons field two straight plays I can't see anything but a horrible neon red nightmare.
