If you'll recall, I had to give a full recantation and apology about Terrell Davis before being accepted as a fan of the Broncos. It was at that point one Davii vouched for me, and on a later date SR also vouched for me.

However, I am truly sorry. For disrespecting the man and his legacy.

Joe, being a Bronco fan is a lot of fun. I actually enjoy watching the team, and my favorite part is observing the front office and how it works. I've never enjoyed watching football before in regards to rooting for my team, but I did out of duty. Now...I can...I'm...happy.

Alright, it's the T.D. jersey.

My favorite TD that I saw was when he was doing some desk work for whatever channel, I think NFL, and he talked about how if he wasn't in the HoF he wouldn't trade that for his rings. I thought the perspective was great.

DENVER (CBS4) – A new cereal named for former Broncos running back Terrell Davis is coming to store shelves.

“TD’s HOF Crunch” will be available for a limited time at participating King Soopers stores.

For those who don’t have a King Soopers near them, it’s also available online.

Saturday evening, Davis will be inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame with six others.

Davis is the only running back to win back-to-back Super Bowl titles, an MVP trophy, a Super Bowl MVP honor, a 2,000-yard season, and seven consecutive playoff wins in which he ran for 100 yards or more.

He will join four other Broncos in the Hall: John Elway, Gary Zimmerman, Floyd Little, and Shannon Sharpe.

People will always try to challenge his time in the league but during those 7 years there was no other dominating RB. Last night and tonight this will be something that was a long time coming. Congrats TD and thanks for all you did for the Broncos. You were the catalyst for the Broncos winning their first 2 SB's in Bronco history.

CANTON, Ohio — The most iconic images of Terrell Davis’ seven-year career have been reenacted many times over in the 15 years since he retired from the NFL.

His Mile High Salute, a post-touchdown celebration he made famous in Denver, is as much a part of Davis as The Migraine Game, the two Super Bowl titles, the Super Bowl MVP, the NFL MVP aware, the 2,008-rushing-yard season, the 1995 American Bowl hit on kickoff coverage, and the 1999 attempted tackle on an interception that ended it all.

Friday afternoon, before receiving his gold jacket and being enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Davis explained his signature salute.

“It was just simply a sign of respect,” he said. “It was just my appreciation for service men and women, and I always thought the mentality that you have to have to play the running back position, you got to have the same mentality as a soldier. So I adopted that salute as the thing that I would do to my teammates, to the running backs, as a sign of respect when I scored.”

That and the "system" were the reasons people gave for him to not be HOF worthy. TD was special and it went far beyond the system. The system might have given him the holes, but he still had to hit them, and then what he did when he got to the second level was special.

This is where I struggled when looking at his career. Also, much like with other RB's with strong lines, the impact of the line was important, but often overstated.
