By all accounts, he was a great guy, and we know he was a great Bronco. To think what could have been without the injuries. Thanks for everything, Ryan! :salute:

He never should have cut off those dread locks. It was like Samson having his hair cut. Afterwards, he was never the same imo.

All the best in retirement Ryan! Sure wish your health had held up, you would've still been out there on the line!

truly. . . i am convinced he'd be a first ballot HOFer if he'd just kept those locks. . . it was all downhill from there. . .

He had HOF ability until the foot stuff. He was an amazing tackle from day one. I'd argue he's the best left tackle in franchise history.

Nothing bad to say about his tenure as a Bronco. Total pro from day 1. Career just unfortunately cut short by injuries. I wish him all the best.

Imagine being hurt both years your team makes the super bowl. Stinks.

I didn't realize he was still on the team when we won the SB. It feels like he has been gone way longer than that. Probably because of him not playing due to injury I guess.

I'd maybe take our HOF left tackle over him.

I just don't know why he didn't embrace me the day I accosted him at the Cherry Creek Mall and that will always be his legacy for me.

Poor Buff always being shit on by various Bronco players. Hillman, Clady, anyone else I'm forgetting?

Sounds like a discussion best had in the lounge. ;)

I was aware of the gravity of the statement.

Nice of him to pay homage to the Broncos and Bowlen.

Best wishes for your future, 78.

I don't know who was better, Zimmerman or Clady, but I'd line towards a lady being more physically imposing

Your reply made me laugh, slightly.

I was using speak to text when I posted that and failed to proofread.

Al, that post was worth a hi-five - but you refuse to give me those anymore.

And it makes it burn!
