Crazy mob scene at Pebble Beach Thursday ... when a bunch of pro autograph seekers bombarded Peyton Manning -- who handled the hectic situation like a pro.

Our friends at BayAreaHQ caught the whole thing on video -- a scene that woulda caused most celebs to freak out and shut down.

But despite the chaos, Manning calmly signed away ... possibly because he was in a good mood after participating in Facebook's Million Dollar Hole-in-One charity event.

Peyton is one athlete that I would really love to meet. I am forever grateful for his time here.

Peyton Manning to guest star on Modern Family episode

DENVER – Peyton Manning is keeping busy after a successful football career and after embarrassing the rest of the family recently, he’s finally got a job as a sports tutor in an upcoming episode of ABC's Modern Family.

Peyton Manning will play Coach Gary, a sports tutor hired by Gloria (Sofía Vergara) in order to teach baby Joe (Jeremy Maguire) how to throw a ball – but he’ll also end up helping around the Pritchett home as a handyman, emasculating Jay (Ed O’Neill) in the process.

Check out this trailer of the episode, airing Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. on Denver7.

The fact that we're stuck watching Brady while PFM had to retire makes me sad.

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)– A cancer survivor is crediting a football legend and UCHealth for saving his life. He says an ad featuring Peyton Manning helped him find the medical care he needed. Manning may no longer be making plays on the field, but he helped Joe Murphy of Arvada score a future.

As a surprise, on Wednesday, Murphy was presented with both a jersey and an official football signed by the former Broncos quarterback. The items are more than just sports memorabilia to the 58-year-old.

“Peyton Manning, thank you very much. You saved my life,” said Murphy.

It was last October when Murphy saw the NFL legend do a commercial for UCHealth.
