No way Denver mails this one in.

Better draft position won’t help the O-Line, only FA will.
Rookie O-Linemen need time to develop in the NFL.

Broncos, next man up, get out there and fight to the end !!!

BEAT THE faiders!!!

Just win the game, BRONCOS!:defense:

I have never seen a worse team fighting for the second seed.

They are quitting. They are quitters. They are trash pieces of soft baby shit mother ******s with no heart and no soul. They have no will to overcome adversity. They have no gumption. They are weak willed men floundering about the gridiron. They are frontrunners.

This is the type of moment that breaks the soul of a team.

New Raiders Motto: "Just One and Done Baby."

My God this has to be the worst 12-3 team I've ever seen. About the only parallel I can think of was those Colts teams that lost to the Broncos in the last week of the season, only those teams were resting Peyton Manning and most of their starters to have them fresh enough to crush the Broncos in the playoffs.

This Raiders team has given up on the season. They know Matt McGloin or Connor Cook aren't going to lead them to any SBs. The fans have been fanatically denying it all week, but losing Derek Carr is a stake in the heart to any hope they had this season. Just like the AZ Cardinals who looked like the best team in the NFL, but got shut out in the playoffs after their top 2 QBs went down.

Man, talk about walking dead though. They can't pretend this game isn't important. This is the difference between the division title and a first round bye or else going on the road next week. To Pittsburgh. Good luck with that Raiders.

First year starters usually fall off towards the end of their first year as teams get tape on their tendencies. I think he will be better next year if given the opportunity.

Although I agree his pocket presence, as you call it, is a concern. I think he just holds the ball too long because he's waiting for the play develop, but it's really just a debate of semantics.

On a brighter note, I wonder how Raider fans feel watching their defense lay down in the last game of the season with the playoffs right around the corner?

He was never at any height to fall off, though. I really hate to be that guy, and I know it's not what a lot of people want to hear, but outside of a few moments TS has been a non-factor. He's not done well. I don't understand what people see in him past a game manager.

I believe that if Lynch had started the entire year, and he has all the first team reps, he would be where TS is at now, or close to it. And he's way rawer than TS, too.

TS has made no improvement on deep balls or sideline throws. One is the easiest type of pass in the game because you're often throwing to an area. The other is a mandatory type of throw. It's terrifying. We brush it off because it's easy to do so.

We are wasting game reps leaving TS in.

The curse of having the proper perspective is that when people don't have it, and you do, you get scolded.

Super pessimistic - I can't wait for us to keep dumping resources into the under-talented guy so when he eventually hits a wall and can't carry a team we're hosed.

Less pessimistic - Eventually we're going to put the resources into the right guy.

Just normal irritation and pessimism - The odds heavily say TS isn't going to be the guy, so surely we will put the right guy in.

No. It's not sad. Loyalty goes to the team, not the player. You can like what you see, that's fine. I keep seeing the same issues with no improvement, and when asked for a refutation I never actually get one. He can get better, cool. But let's be really optimistic -- TS turns into a 22-28 TD a year guy with 3,500-3,800 yards a year. That style only works if your defense is dominant. That's me being very nice and giving him a much higher ceiling than he probably has on a consistent level.

I'm not guaranteeing Lynch to be an all-pro. But I'd rather invest in the guy who has a huge arm, touch pass ability, better mobility, and all the talent in the world. Because when the defense gets older and we can't resign everyone the offense is going to have to step up.

That's the reality.

Well, will the defense get older? Yes. Will the defense lose some guys to retirement and free agency? Yes. Is it really, really, really hard to keep together a historic defense and maintain a good offense, assuming you have one? Yes. Do you really need me to break out the citations and examples? You shouldn't.

So please, offer an actual refutation if you have one.

This game isn't about the current situation but the future. We've seen TS with all the time and resources with him. We know what he is at the very least right now.
