Hopefully tonight. Our coverage unit's just as bad for giving up the TD return, but neither it nor the safety that led to it happen if Norwood doesn't muff a punt at the goal line. And the second time he effectively moved 1st and 10 at the KC 40 back inside our 5 because the D had to make back-to-back stops. Between that and our two quick TD drives, maybe there's a reason they looked so soft at the end of the 4th and in OT.

Sucks as a returner, may even be more of a disaster as a receiver. The idiot should never get playing time over Sunshine.

Him and Sambrailo need to go away forever.

Did y'all see someone shove him off the field after his second fumbled punt? Not just a little one either.

Person I was watching with mentioned it. I was so pissed off I didn't notice and didn't bother rewinding the DVR to see.

It was Talib. He shoved him to the sidelines, and then kind of walked back yelling some more.

Talib was pissed after the game. As players were meeting after the game, he was in the end zone right next to entrance to locker room, took of his helmet and threw it at the ground. Visually pissed the hell off. He basically showed every emotion I felt at that moment.

He looked pretty lonely on the bench after that. We went from having the ball in fg range to having the ball on our 10. It probably cost us the game.

We scored on that drive, so I don't think it cost us the game. You could argue that it took 3 minutes off the clock, which we might have been able to use after the Chiefs tied the game. But who knows how the clock is managed, so it's tough to say.

Fielding the first punt inside the 10 which resulted in a safety then a returned TD cost us the game.

I have routinely begged the front office (well not in reality, but in my thoughts) to spend a 1st or 2nd round pick on a return guy. Someone dependable who just gets it done, maybe returns a punt or kick for a TD once a year. Tyler Lockett, Ted Ginn, Cordell Patterson, someone.... How nice would it be to have a guy like that in place for 6 or 7 years.

This team would be greatly improved by cutting Jordan Norwood and Ty Sambriolo.

True, but the D having to go back on the field again late in the 4th might have led to them being gassed at the end of the game, and I'm not talking about the kind of gassed Jaded's wife has to endure.

Can we just bring back Trindon Holliday. At least he was a threat to take kicks to the house. Either that or Eddie Royal. Jacoby Jones is also a free agent.

Cut off his fingers slowly and then strap him to a rocket and fire him into the sun.

I think he meant that Norwood is the opposite of Tim Tebow in that he's carved out an NFL career by staying humble and doing whatever he needed to do to carve out an NFL career.

Can't remember. But he makes Trindon Holliday look sure handed. What the hell happened to Raymond? Did Kubiak not think he could catch in the cold? Did they not practice leading up to the game?

Putting Norwood back at punt returner this week, and leaving him in after the fumble, is the most indefensible thing Kubiak has done as our head coach, and it's not even close. It just makes absolutely zero sense. He must have some really compromising dirt on Elway or Kubes.

Like, seriously, just re-sign Trindon Holliday off the street if we insist on having someone back there who can't hold onto the ball. At least he can occasionally run one back.

Ya know the difference between this season and last, imo anyway? Kubiak's personnel decisions. Last season his offense wasn't much but he had a Midas touch with personnel decisions. Had the ginormous balls to sit Manning and then bench Osweiler, for example.

Last year he was a great HC, this season he's screwing the pooch.

Keeping Norwood and the other 20 WR's while wearing the DL so thin that they're one injury away from having (literally) zero depth. Winn could barely pick himself up off the ground by the end of that game. This is just one example.

I love Kubiak and I think most of his critics are thoroughly full of shit, but this is where we agree.

Yea, this is really the biggest thing I have against Kubiak. Stop giving so many freaking chances. You screw up this much, you are gone, period. If you don't have some sort of accountability you are going to end up with a bunch of soft players. I hate New England with a passion, but we could use some of that "Do your job" attitude around here.

Kubiak needs to make changes before his hand gets forced from elway. Norwood is almost losing games single handedly. We just pulled a WR from the PS for returns for what reason?

Switzer is a tremendous kick/punt returner. I saw him play a lot at UNC, including running back several punts for TDs. If the Broncos don't get McCaffrey, they better at least get Switzer. In fact, why not both?
