Most people look at themselves in the mirror every morning. On certain days, they don't recognize the face looking back at them. The reflection hasn't changed. The person has.

This is the Denver Broncos (http://bleacherreport.com/denver-broncos)' 2016 campaign in a nutshell. The roster may have gotten a face-lift, but the team is still winning games in the same manner as last year's improbable Super Bowl champions.

Quarterback Peyton Manning (http://bleacherreport.com/peyton-manning) retired. Backup Brock Osweiler left to become the Houston Texans (http://bleacherreport.com/houston-texans)' franchise signal-caller. Defensive lineman Malik Jackson signed a six-year, $85.5 million contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars (http://bleacherreport.com/jacksonville-jaguars).

Linebacker Danny Trevathan also left via free agency to join the Chicago Bears (http://bleacherreport.com/chicago-bears). The front office revamped the offensive line. C.J. Anderson, who began the year as Denver's starting running back, is no longer in the lineup due to a meniscus injury.

But a stingy and opportunistic defense remains. The special teams unit continues to make plays. And the offense, specifically the quarterback position, isn't often making crucial mistakes that lead to losses.

All three phases were on display during the Broncos' 25-23 comeback victory Sunday against the New Orleans Saints (http://bleacherreport.com/new-orleans-saints). The biggest play of the game didn't even come from the offense or defense.
A pair of first-year players combined to make the improbable probable.

This is not the same team. Last years team was #3 against the run.

Bro, close enough.

Yesterday's win reminded me of our win against KC. Crazy improbable but with a major impact

Yea, there are some minor differences but we are basically winning with the same formula. Lol

Defense and special teams, the recipe hasn't changed.

I agree the recipe is the same, but to say this team is a mirror image of last year is not accurate. Last years team was one of the best in the league at stopping the run. This years team is one of the worst in the league at stopping the run.

We are not as good as we were last year.

Like i said, there are some minor differences but its hard to ignore how we win plus what our record is. Even last year at this time no one felt we were a SB calibur team.

Not the same team sure, but similar results and in similar fashion.

Honestly if this team manages to pull their heads out of their rears on offense between now and the playoffs we have a good shot! I am not giving up hope on the offense figuring itself out in coming weeks. The bye may help a lot with that.

On my facebook memories from this time last year I posted a gif that I felt summed up the Broncos season...It was an F1 car that had both front wheels fall off..

I was laughing at several posts where I said something to the extent of "Look...I've got no delusions of us winning the superbowl"

At this point, it's not likely we repeat, but if the offense can find a groove at the right time, this team will be hard to stop. The issue is...they have no groove....

I agree with most of it, except the run defense. Going from one of the best to one of the worst is more than a minor difference.

Ok.

I mean if you think its a major difference than thats your prerogative i guess. All i know is that we are 7-3 and for the most part the team is winning in almost identical fashion to last year. Never the less, the article stated we are almost a mirror image of last year and i would say for the most part they are correct. But i think everyone knows that it was going to be difficult to repeat as Champions anyway but at 7-3 i will take it.

It would be if it had an impact, so far when it counts the defense is still getting the job done.

The only game they didn't was the raiders game really.
