It's Kubiak's demeanor, but it's because his offenses are based on running the ball to then get good play action. It was that way before he left for Houston, and that way last year and this year. Last year, after the horrible start, he adjusted and incorporated some of Manning's stuff, which is when they started with the pistol and more shotgun.
