Sure, attending a football game is all about cheering on your team and watching the action live, but it’s also an opportunity to indulge in stadium food. Fried, frozen and frothy, stadium food has taken on a life of its own as more teams come up with crazy creations for fans to enjoy in the stands. Centerplate, the hospitality partner of Sports Authority Field at Mile High, revealed some new items Tuesday that will appear on the 2016 menus at Broncos games.
This season will feature more than 10 new items throughout the stadium including Frito Pie with Mark Schlereth’s Stinkin’ Good Green Chili, a Southwest Chicken Sausage made with a local Palisade Peach slaw and a few other hand-worthy items like street tacos, gyros and taco pizzas.
And because it is Denver after all, the menus will feature a new beer called — fittingly — United in Orange Pale Ale from Breckenridge Brewery. The beer is brewed with orange juice and orange peel to make it just orange enough to find a home at the Broncos’ stadium.
Save room for dessert? New sweet options include Broncos helmet sundaes and nitro root beer floats.
