Well, my first ever visit to the Denver Broncos training camp was one to remember! A dear friend, Ann Dunbar and I traveled north from Colorado Springs to see our men in blue and orange.
For over three years, Ann has battled stage four, Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and other related medical issues. She has had a long, tough road and her battles still continue. One thing that has gotten her through besides the love and support from her family and friends has been her love of her beloved Broncos.
Her oldest daughter, and my best friend, had asked me if I would surprise Ann by taking her to training camp. I was totally on board. Not only was it a great idea and was something that Ann really deserved, but I had always wanted to attend a Broncos training camp practice. Well the secret didn’t last long.
