The Broncos are locking up their quarterback of the future.

Paxton Lynch’s agent Leigh Steinberg said on Twitter that he is traveling to Denver Thursday to finalize a four-year contract for Lynch which will include a fifth-year team option.

Lynch, the No. 26 pick, is slotted to make $9.5 million over four years. In contrast, the Texans signed former Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler to a four-year, $72 million contract in March.

We are going to be so happy we drafted this kid. The only part I haven't seen is the ability to come back in the clutch which separates the good from the greats but that may just be a lack of opportunities.

This guy will be the reason we can afford to pay von . He will be playing cheap for several years while millers contract is at peak. Qb money to von with rookie contract on QB
