Locker room renovations at the Broncos training facility finished just in time, as the players will come back on Monday to all new digs.

KUSA—Another year, another major upgrade to the Denver Broncos’ facilities.

This year was a locker room project that Broncos spokesman Patrick Smyth called a “million dollar renovation.’’

It’s the sixth consecutive year the Broncos have undergone a major project on their team headquarters, a facility that opened in 1990.

“Mr. Bowlen, Joe Ellis and John Elway, they give me a lot of leeway,’’ said Chip Conway, the Broncos’ vice president of operations. “Being able to see this facility age and see where things need to be improved, I think there are two areas that we really haven’t touched: our team meeting room and our training room. Our training room we’ve touched a little bit, but we have some improvements that hopefully we can get done in the not-so-distant (future) in there.”
