I hope this doesn't mean we're trading for Matt McGloin...

Not just his ballin return in the SB, but he really grew on me as the season went on.

A great special teams player...longest punt return in SB history.

I love special teams

Meh, ok. Fowler has always impressed me more as a guy on the deep WR depth chart, but Norwood had some moments.

I thought Fowler was more impactful in the receiving game. Norwood's lack of length really seemed to hinder him at multiple points of the season.

Hopefully we re-sign Norwood AND Fowler, though that may be bad news for Caldwell (never understood why so many people bag on him; every time I remember seeing him involved in a play, he did a good job.) I agree Fowler made a bigger impact in the offense (not that Norwood was bad either) but we've been seeking a reliable returner a long time (remember Welker fumbling away the OT loss @NE two years ago? Trindon "TD for SOMEBODY" Holliday? Sydquan Thompson?)

Until/unless we re-sign Bolden (far from guaranteed) Norwood's all we got, and has played well in the offense, so I'm glad we kept him (though I haven't seen the contract terms; all I can find is Rotoworld saying it's a single season deal, so we'll be right back here this time next year.)

Every time I hear positive news about Norwood, it makes me wonder WTF Cody Latimer is doing.

I definitely want to see more of Bennie Fowler next year.

Latimer is a high round specialty teams player. He's been playing well there, though.

Latimer needs a QB that won't freeze him out, he showed up when Osweiler was in there. Norwood is strictly a slot and return guy.

Fowler is the next Cfa stud in Broncos uniform, imo.

I don't even know who that is, sounds like a porn star.

No Broncos #3 WR is going to have significant numbers in this system. They run the ball on 1st and 2nd down, and then throw it to one of their top 2 WRs or their TE on 3rd down. They use TEs more than the #3 WR. So, Cody Latimer versus Jordan Norwood, versus Benie Fowler is more sports radio fodder, than it is important.

I don't know if that will always be the case. At any rate I think they can get more than what they have gotten out the number three receiver.

I wouldn't bet on that. For one thing, primary WRs get hurt; DT hasn't looked right more than about a month at a time since his SB XLVIII injury. And just because Kubes likes a lot of 2TE sets doesn't mean he can find a PAIR of starting quality TEs any time soon. Even if he does, we'll probably still use a pro set about as much. The bigger question may be how much Sanchez or our QB of the future gets tunnel vision with DT and Sanders. Then, of course, there's Sanders' 2017 contract....
