Has anyone seen the so called 'special' Lombardi with the golden 50 in Denver yet?


Is it on display somewhere?

I know it's probably on display now with the other 2 at the teams headquarters, but I think that 50 was just a decorative piece?

My understanding was that the 50 would come with the trophy. I kind of hope it goes on display with the trophy because of its significants.

It was reported that the team gets to keep the 50 and display it with the trophy if they so choose.

Ah, cool. That will be neat! Too bad they trophy isn't gold plated or something too.

You mean THIS Lombardi? At first I was thinking the actual Lombardi would look sick if it was plated in gold but I like the gold 50 with it just as much. SB 50 imo was one of the most special years to win it. Only thing that could probably top that is SB 100 or maybe SB 1. But we will all probably be dead before SB 100 anyway. Lol
