Well, he does nice sack dances. Kind of a step down from Super Bowl MVP to a show with C-list celebrities

Dammit. Those dancers workout and condition to fulfill the dancing requirements (slender and flexible). I think this isn't a good idea. I wouldn't care of Von was on another team or retired, but he's already messed with his workout before and it hurt him. His production this season obviously means he was in tip-top shape for his position. I'd hate to see him take a step back because of this fricken show. I'm all for selling yourself, but this may effect his play this season. Nobody wants that. I f___ing hate reality shows.

I don't think this will hurt him. He is obviously in tune with his body and takes care of it well.

Hell, it might help with footwork, although I don't know how he could possibly improve it, it probably can't hurt.

I'm not a huge fan of current players doing these sorts of things. Retired players are one thing, but current players have different responsibilities. What must their insurance be like if Von suffers an injury doing this? It's not like people haven't been injured on the show before.

*shrugs* Have fun Von, but do me a favor and be terrible and get kicked off the first week, k?

Either you must be sick today or I am because I totally agree with you. There are way worse things he could be doing with his offseason, like sitting around smoking pot or getting DUIs or getting into trouble at night clubs. If being on dancing with the stars is the "worst" thing he does, I am all for it. He's not even close to the first active NFL player to do it and I've never heard of it causing any issues for anyone, so I am not worried.

No one. I'm good, but I can already see it in some posts and already predict others. " considering how much money we are paying him, he should be concentrating on football and staying healthy." We see it all the time when players are reported to be doing something outside of football.

I've watched maybe a grand total of 10 minutes of it over the years and I literally felt like I was 1000 years old watching it. I think it's supposed to appeal to women over 80 or something.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm overreacting, NTL. The truth is, Von isn't under contract so he's not violating anything. I wonder though, if this may encourage Elway to add a clause.

My wife, 50, and daughter, 14, watch the show religiously. I encourage this, as it leaves me free to play computer games without guilt or hindrance on those nights. They do get mad at me if I periodically pipe up from the peanut gallery (the other side of the living room) making very gentle fun of Bruno Tomioli.

Bruno is a flamboyant Judge, who would no doubt wish it was Tom Brady rather than Von Miller dancing for him. If you know what I mean. And I bet you do.

Took my wife to see tel he DWTS travelling when it was here in KC in December. She loves it. It's decent. I don't see a problem with him on it. It's not like he is riding his motorcycle through downtown Pittsburgh, or any of the other things you heat about other athletes are doing.

True something can happen. Think of it this way, the way the pros work with the stars, he is kind of working out, and it will be different than any other workout that he is doing. I could think of far worse things he could be doing.

I wonder what he likes to listen to? When I played in high school someone would bring a boom box we would play AC/DC Back in Black or something from Quiet Riot and that would get me amped up.

KUSA - Unless Von Miller gets eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars” on Monday night, he will not attend the Denver Broncos “voluntary” offseason workout opener April 18.

And it would be shocking if Miller was eliminated. First, it seems the television show’s producers have made him the star of their 22nd season. Only two of the 12 contestants have been voted off and Miller has not even endured a bottom-three threat.

Two,the show Monday will have a Disney movie theme. There is so much kid in Von Miller, he figures to shine with his partner Witney Carson as they perform the Viennese Waltz to a “A Dream is a Wish” which is from Disney’s “Cinderella.”

If Miller, the Broncos’ star pass rushing linebacker and Super Bowl 50 MVP, survives this Monday, he will perform the following week on April 18 in Los Angeles.

The Broncos will begin their offseason workout program that day at the UCHealth Training Center in Englewood.
