Sitting here the night before, this kind of seems like the end of our season. As Shake said, this has been a great season regardless. I think this team has taken "kicking and screaming" to heart, and if we lose to a great team, so be it. I just hope it's not to this team, that I hate above all others. I've predicted our demise numerous times this year and this team has proven me wrong. How about one more time, guys? We'll have to play great, smart football - no turnovers, no dumb penalties. Do that and we have a good shot to take them down. Mile High will be an advantage as well.

Yea, it seems like most of the polls I've seen want the Broncos in the Super Bowl. I think a combination of the Broncs being fairly well liked, and many people wanting to see Manning be part of a story book ending to his career.

Make no mistake, the Broncos are going against a VERY good team that has gotten healthy on offense and is peaking right when they need to be. This is going to be a real tough game. If the Broncos can manage to hold the Pats to 21 points or so (no easy task), then they should be SB bound, but it will most likely take their best game of the year.

Dreary, but I agree. I think just about everything has to go right to win - and other than Green Bay that didn't really happen vs. anyone. Think the Pats have a much, much greater margin for error.

Very few really seem to feel differently. Denver actually hasn't been this much of an underdog in the playoffs in awhile. Odd things can happen though.

Double-team Gronk and expect our Big 3 corners to tight man-cover the other receivers. Dare Brady to run the ball. On offense, let Manning calls the plays and just execute. There’s a reason that these two teams have consistently been the best in the AFC for the past few years.

New England and Denver match up with each other beautifully, and are just loaded with talent and playmakers on both sides of the ball.

Even though the newly made rivals have traded barbs over the radio airwaves and on social media throughout the week, they’re about to take part in what should be nothing short of a memorable contest.

Nonetheless, Brady v. Manning XVII will be decided by which team takes care of the ball with more efficiency. When the Broncos commit turnovers, it’s usually been in bunches, and spells bad news for the team, no matter how great their defense has been.

And back in Week 12, the whole course of the game changed for New England after returner Chris Harper muffed a punt in the fourth quarter deep in Patriots’ territory.

That being said, Denver’s receivers will do a better job of holding onto the ball (suffered a staggering nine drops versus Pittsburgh), while Manning will deliver a handful of big throws in clutch moments as their defense slows down the Brady Bunch just enough to help vault the Broncos back into Super Bowl.

ESPN reports (sadly) that Denver is 6-0 in the last six times Ed Hochuli was the referee in their game. Of course, we all remember the gift "incompletion" he gave Jay Cutler against the Chargers. If the NFL was out to screw us, they'd given us Voinovich.
