Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler has a Grade 2 separation in his non-throwing shoulder, FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports.

The injury won't prevent Osweiler from remaining starter for the remainder of the season, according to Glazer.

As Peyton Manning returns to full health (or as close as his 39-year-old body can get to full health), chatter about the Broncos re-installing Manning as starter increases in volume.

Based on Glazer's report, it sounds like the Broncos have no intention of making another move at quarterback.

I would say its good that Oz remains the starter but with the injury i wonder how much its going to affect his play. Its not like our Oline isnt keeping any pressure off of him so he's going to get hit. Guess we are going to see how durable he really is now.

What would be really interesting is what they would do if both Brock and Peyton were too hurt to play effectively. Do they just put Peyton back in and see if he can tough it out or do they put in Simean or bring back a guy like Ponder?

The Broncos waived Ponder on Dec. 8th

Note I said "bring back".

This is not going to go over well with Peyton.

Well, Mallet is playing for Bmore today and already has a TD pass. If Brock or Peyton are still too injured maybe we would see Siemen.

I hope Manning at least dresses so he can go in if Brock gets hurt. I don't want our playoff hopes riding on Trevor.

I'm sure Brock's left shoulder doesn't have a big target on it now.

Really wish they'd let Manning have one more go but I guess it's not going to happen.

Wouldn't be my call.

If Brock goes out against Cincinnati, then if Manning came back (is he active) against us I guarantee you the following: the reverse Farve. Cincinnati started Favre's reign of dominance by knocking out the GB starter. Favre came in and spanked that ass. In this instance Manning would rise like a gimpy phoenix from the ashes and drop wobbly dimes all over the field. We would, in all truth, be sad.

Great, so when he returns against us it will be against the rules but it doesn't matter. He's Manning. That jersey is coming on. Those ducks are being thrown.

How would John Fox know if Osweiler has a separated shoulder?

I think if they had to play a QB third, it should be that Siemien kid.

I'd rather just let Vernon Davis take reps at QB. Couldn't be worse than ^^^^ that guy.

You could see when Brock ran out for the second half, after missing the last play of the first half. His right elbow was moving freely, like it should when you run, his left elbow was tucked against his ribs and didn't move at all. That's when I knew it was bruised or dislocated. Yeah, he played the second half hurt last week.

FWIW, Glazer is not the only person who has reported Denver plans to stay with Os. Vic has as well, and I don't think you can deny he is a Broncos insider.

True enough, I just haven't forgotten how Glazer spun the Fox ordeal during last year's playoff game.

Well shit. If a talking head said it I guess we better go ahead and get rid of him while we still can!

Could happen but you wont know until you actually see him in more games. HOF QB's are not easy to come by so the odds are certainly stacked against him.

They said the same thing about Kirk Cousins and he has turned himself into 18M to 20M a year QB. Sometime it takes time for the game to slow down and young QB real talent show through..

Peyton is so pissed off. I would start him next week if he feels he can even be 60%. Probably throw 9 touchdowns, or 9 interceptions.

I was pretty much willing to give Manning the reigns after the first half. We still only scored 17 points. Our offense is so very very pedestrian right now. But Brock played well in second half. I wish his deep ball was better, as he doesn't even get close, but no INTs was nice!

Most awesome spelling error of the year Rav! Peyton Reigns! and not reins (like the horse).

I am not spelling trolling you. That was genuinely funny.
