Kubiak said Broncos are day-to-day with T.J. Ward (left ankle), Sylvester Williams (right ankle) and Louis Vasquez (groin)

Kubiak said T.J. Ward and Sly Williams both have ankle injuries, not the same. Considering them day to day, but "will need some work"

Evan Mathis "didn't have any setbacks on his ankle" Sunday night, Kubiak said. Had hoped he would be able to not use him Sunday.

Kubiak: "[@cjandersonb22] just looks like he's getting more confident in what we're doing."

Re: Manning: progress "has been good," question is whether he comes out of the cast early or late this week, Kubiak said.

When Manning is out of the cast, he'll go back into rehab, not straight to practice field.

Kubiak said Manning helped team at halftime with adjustments... #Broncos

Kubiak: Williams and Ward are laying in the training room side-by-side right now.

Kubiak: "Are we playing as good as we can? We're not there yet. There's so much we can learn from last night."

No one picked up everything that Kubes said in regards to Peyton. He said Peyton had a copy of the game plan, and at halftime offered advice on adjustments, etc.

IMO, this definitely helped, as our offense played much better in the 2nd half than it did in the 1st half

Still a huge problem, and the one remaining horsefly in our ointment. Protection was typically awful the first 3 quarters, but flawless against a top pass rush in the 4th, when it mattered most, so maybe it's a consistency issue at this point (Schofield still gets beaten around the edge "way too many" times for a starting OT though.) I didn't think to look at whether we kept extra protectors in during the 4th though; if so, even Oz going 3 for 3 and deep on blitzes after completing just 25% before doesn't encourage.

Just don't rush it: We can't afford another game like KC when he returns, because it could be in the playoffs (which would DEFINITELY end his season, and ours.) I want him back for the playoffs, and would like a game or two for the offensive to get back into his rhythm after adjusting to Oz', but that still leaves 3-4 games available to rest him.
