Since Brock is starting again this week, I thought it would be cool to share this breakdown of his passing game. Even though he has only started 1 game so far he has made 51 passing attempts already. Pat Kirwan and the Real Football Network show a map of his passes, where he seems to be more successful and what he may be struggling in as we head to the Pats next week: https://realfootballnetwork.com/2015/11/23/ne-den-brock-osweiler-passing-map/

I thought he had 54 regular season pass attempts heading in to the Bears game.

From the article..

It’s not a large sample, of course, but he’s now attempted 51 passes over the past two weeks...

From the article..

Guess that's what I get for not reading the article. Thanks for the correction Chairman.

Nothing over 20 yds in the air except for one pick. Everything short and intermediate, at least he's looking both left and right. Sounds like the TEs are becoming a bigger part of the offense.

I'd love to see one play where they load up on the right and put Lattimer on the left, fake right and then throw deep left to Lattimer.

You do this because he won't draw NE's best cover men (especially if Sanders and DT are lined up right), Peyton had Lattimer buried deep on the depth chart because Lattimer wouldn't learn audibles so the Pats don't have him scouted well and you also do this to establish that Ozzie can throw deep and it doesn't have to be to DT.

If it clicks, wonderful. If it doesn't click, you've still given the Patriots two things to think about that they aren't expecting and will have to account for which then opens up other receivers/patterns.
