Orton or Manning?

Oh, Sneakers.

Orton's fainting goat legacy will never be topped. No QB has ever given up on plays with the grace, determination, and panache of a Prime Neckbeard.

This. ^^

Manning literally has no choice when faced with an oncoming rusher.
Orton, while not being the most fleet of foot guy, could have at least tried on more than one occasion

Orton. At least Manning had a reason to drop, he didnt have his walking cane.

Orton for sure. Manning is cheating with his service dog telling him when to go down.

Manning had an all-timer against the Chiefs this weekend. Defender was still like 5-7 yards away when he went into the fetal position.

Orton no doubt.

Manning just started his impression this year. Orton did it his whole career. It's the longevity that gives him the edge.

I've never seen a man throw the ball in the dirt in the red zone to avoid taking a risk like Orton. The man was simply dedicated to folding in the face of any adversity like no Bronco before or since.

Just a thoroughly uncompetitive player. Probably a really good guy to have a beer with though.

Maybe beer is what Kyle needed in the huddle.

Yeppers! :D On the ride home show with Al and Dmac they were having callers end the call with their best fainting goat sound.

This last summer, my GF asked me who my least favorite Bronco was. With no hesitation, I said Orton. It actually made me temporarily angry remembering how much I loathed rooting for that neck-bearded surrender monkey. The moment a team got a two score lead on us, you were better off just turning the game off.

In these contemptuous times, let's remember how much worse it could be; we could have to root for Orton again.

Orton or Manning?

What was he supposed to do? Stand there like a dumbass and get crushed because his OL can't block a sunbeam? Be a man! Then get hurt and cough up the ball!

As much as Orton would drive me nuts, Jake Plummer in his final year would cause me to go into near apopleptic fits of spitting fury. I never saw him as an upgrade over Griese...and as it turns out he wasn't. Guy was awful by the end and I never sensed that he even cared all that much

Orton, he would almost pull it off before the snap. Or when nobody was around him.

I cain't hep it. An emotional reaction, I know. Jake just chapped my ass something fierce, esp. by the end. I cheered out loud when we traded that stiff
