ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Fifty-two times in his 215 regular-season NFL games, Champ Bailey reeled in an opposing quarterback’s pass and turned it into an interception.

A former All-Pro cornerback with the Broncos, Bailey routinely said the difference between defensive backs who knock passes down and those who record interceptions is as simple as “being a guy who can close the deal. Some guys can’t close the deal.’’

The current Denver Broncos' secondary is filled with those who can close the deal, and that’s why the team is tied for fourth in the league with seven interceptions. And why it has returned two of those interceptions for touchdowns.

Read today that Chris Harris is on a 26 game streak with no TDs allowed. He never gets credit in the news.

Ravage!!!

It still leaves me scratching my head that he went undrafted.

Very impressive. He's one of the leagues most underrated players.

Me too. Seems like he always makes big plays. We were smart to sign him a little early. Had we waited I think he would have got more.

Alot of GMs are kicking themselves for not taking him. We might miss on earlier draft picks but as long as we land gold in later rounds or undrafted then that is ok with me. They usually play with a big chip on their shoulder and if you follow Chris at all on social media you will know he has one. He has something to prove and he does his talking on the field.

heard an interview with him recently. . . he absolutely knows he could have gotten more, but he said it wouldn't have been worth it to him to go somewhere like oakland or jacksonville, and have to suck. . . :D

oh yea, he absolutely did. . . he was on w/ al and dmac on 104.3. . . and that isn't word for word, but it's very close. . . he might have said "have to lose" rather than "have to suck," but it was right along those lines. . .

when julius thomas hears it, he'll probably miss three weeks w/ a bad case of butthurt. . .
