ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- C.J. Anderson (http://www.denverbroncos.com/team/roster/cj-anderson/d388f589-0901-4fa8-9b3e-8c13b12762ae/) is still officially the Broncos' first-team running back, but in a more practical way, there is no difference between him and Ronnie Hillman (http://www.denverbroncos.com/team/roster/ronnie-hillman/d5e8b682-5d8b-43c2-bac5-05d1e1f4c354/).
"I think of them both as starters, to be honest with you," Head Coach Gary Kubiak said at his press conference Monday afternoon. "I know somebody has to walk out there on play No. 1, but they're both going to play and probably play right down the middle."

In the Broncos' 23-20 win over the Vikings, Anderson started the game, but Hillman opened the second half on the heels of his 72-yard touchdown gallop that was the Broncos' longest run in nine years.
Anderson and Hillman each finished Sunday's game with 11 carries and one reception. Anderson played 29 snaps; Hillman 25. But thanks to the 72-yard jaunt, Hillman finished with 108 yards on his 12 touches, while Anderson had 70, including 27 on a reception on the Broncos' first offensive play of the game.

Their workload balance will continue, Kubiak said.

"We'll keep going the way we're going," Kubiak said.

Im thinking that run was Mike Anderson. Seems like Mikes was longer because he ripped one from inside the 10 I thought.

It was Anderson, but from the 20, and it was 15 years ago. The most recent was Javon Walker.

1. ... Gene Mingo ... vs. Oakland (Oct. 5, 1962) ... 82 yards

2-T. ... Mike Anderson ... at Seattle (Nov. 26, 2000) ... 80 yards

2-T. ... Floyd Little ... at San Francisco (Oct. 25, 1970) ... 80 yards

4-T. ... Ronnie Hillman ... vs. Minnesota (Oct. 4, 2015) ... 72 yards

4-T. ... Javon Walker ... at Pittsburgh (Nov. 5, 2006) ... 72 yards

4-T. ... Joe Dawkins ... at Kansas City (Oct. 7, 1973) ... 72 yards

Javon Walker would have had a good career had he not got injured so much. Also he wasn't the same after the Williams death. I always liked J-Walk.

Hopefully one of them will get hot and stay hot. Better yet maybe both can get hot.
