Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips, Offensive Coordinator Rick Dennison and Special Teams Coordinator Joe DeCamillis talked about what to expect in the first game, starting with the Broncos’ punting situation:

1. DeCamillis not worried about Sanders at punt return

There were plenty of questions when Week 1’s depth chart listed wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders as the No. 1 punt returner. In 2014, Sanders eclipsed the 1,000-yards receiving mark and was one part of the Broncos’ dominant aerial attack but only saw one return for 11 yards.

My biggest concern with Sanders returning punts is that he'll wear down.

Last year he was awful, but prior to that, as a third choice, he is not a bad option, plus manning likes him.

He's technically the fourth option behind Latimer.

Some of you have too high of expectations for a fourth option WR. Caldwell looked sharp in preseason. He knows the playbook. He knows the team. He's never going to be the guy Peyton looks at and says "get open, bubba. You're gonna win this one for us", so I'm not sure why some of you are bitching that he's not a Pro Bowl caliber player.
