Apparently Oz looked a bit better today than yesterday.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The first team belonged to Brock Osweiler (http://www.denverbroncos.com/team/roster/brock-osweiler/4185fe41-eb11-43c8-b812-31a069b07176/) for the second time during training camp, and although there were some hiccups, Osweiler closed Sunday morning's practice strongly and with more consistency than he showed during the first veterans' rest day last Monday."I thought Brock did a good job," Head Coach Gary Kubiak said. "He missed a few plays, and I know he missed a skinny [post] there on a little mock situation we had on third-and-7, but he made a lot of plays, too."

At times, Osweiler did well dropping the ball through narrow windows and trusting his pass catchers to make the plays. Early in practice, he found tight end Virgil Green (http://www.denverbroncos.com/team/roster/virgil-green/697bb3b3-c95e-4735-ae6b-4c0da89c12d2/) in the left flat against tight coverage from linebacker Reggie Walker (http://www.denverbroncos.com/team/roster/reggie-walker/32916534-348e-4e3e-b67f-f690e6f94686/).

Osweiler is also improving at using his pump fake to get defenders to bite, as he did on a seven-on-seven touchdown pass to tight endDominique Jones (http://www.denverbroncos.com/team/roster/dominique-jones/092fa31f-8ea8-4411-be7f-242523125945/). However, a pump fake later in that period didn't work out as well, asTony Carter (http://www.denverbroncos.com/team/roster/tony-carter/8f24e36f-e753-4790-9265-03f4d2cc9be0/) read the pass and deflected it beforeDemaryius Thomas (http://www.denverbroncos.com/team/roster/demaryius-thomas/a951744a-72dd-4748-a461-02fc06668e12/) could catch it.

I'm glad Osweiler had a better day today. The more repetitions the better.

Nothing against you North. Just seems silly to me that we have a ton of threads about one thing.

I've heard that Ball and Ray have both looked pretty good.

Interesting. There was also a guy who was a very good, highly awarded defensive player at that school the year prior that didn't work out so well...

Athletically, that's an apples and oranges comparison.

Meh. How many practices have they been in pads? Twice, three times?

His quote is that he heard one camp attendee say that. So... which camp attendee and why should we listen to them? Joe Schmoe on the hill or someone who knows something?

I hate those type of quotes, it's a lazy way for someone to make a story. I didn't go to camp but I heard two attendees say he looks good.

Not bagging on you DZ, just the lazy possibly disengenuous "reporter".

Ray turns it up a notch when it's O vs D. The two practices I watched in pads, he looked very good. You can tell that he's still thinking out there, but he has a nose for the QB. He's no Von Miller, but he's a legit first round talent.

Ray has always been a "gamer" since miz. Dont expect much out of him in practice. i remember reading the same thing on Mizzou Boards

I remember you saying this earlier and the reporters who do this for a living also say he's doing well.

by the way he only gets sacks in the last quarter.

I actually have a problem with this. Each day of camp is its own separate news and deserves its own separate thread. Megathreads are not conducive to discussion and make hide new training camp reports in with everyone's discussions or reporter tweets. It's just easier to read. It's not stopping you or anyone from starting your own discussion threads on non-training camp related topics either.

How long does shit really stay on topic here. Lezbehonest. Does the August 7th training camp report thread only stay on that day? Or does it evolve each and every day with training camp? It does, hence my reason for having on thread.

The people that went to camp and took the time to make their own reports for all of us that can't deserve to choose whether they have their own thread or lump it in with someone else's report. I don't think we should merge at this point in time.

Look at Brock, he's too dreamy to fail, the Broncos are sabotaging Brocky's career because Elway is gelly, they need to incorporate more high school schemes and get some real talent at WR.

The camp reports are literally my favorite part of this forum. I look forward to them each season. The front page of the forums is so dead each offseason. I wish we had more of them on the front page, not less.

I agree it livens the place in a hurry when camp reports start rolling in.
