While illegal contact and defensive holding will remain a point of emphasis in 2015, a new player safety issue will also be enforced.
"We're looking at loose-ball piles, so when there's a pile of players after a fumble, the action around the pile, players forcibly grabbing players and pulling them off the pile -- that's going to be unsportsmanlike conduct this year," Blandino said.
