Today is Back to the Future's day! BTTF turns 30th today! 30 years ago, Marty McFly and Huey Lewis & the News rocked the world!

"The Power Of Love" was arguably the most popular song-title of the 80's.

Believe it or not, Jaws turned 40th last June! Happy 40th Birthday, Jaws!

You can't seperate Huey Lewis and Back to the Future. Movies and music was so great back in the day.

Saw Terminator Genisys yesterday. Thought it was pretty good, way better than the last one. Arnold was pretty funny in this one. But glad to see they are making movies from my childhood still. Would love to see another Back to the Future.

I was just reading yesterday that there won't be a remake of this one as Zemeckis had it put in the contract for the movie that remakes were not authorized during his lifetime. Don't know how true that is.

That kind of sucks.

Ok then we just make a 4th one with the same cast.

Back to the Future is my favorite movie of all time and if there is ever a remake I will kill somebody.

Christopher Lee recently died and Michael J. Fox has Parkinson's so I can't imagine another remake, which is fine. Some good movies are best left alone.

I'd love a DeLorean, although you can't get parts.

Christopher Lloyd is Doc not Christopher Lee!

I don't get involved in movies, rarely watch them. But this is classic and it's deplorable to not have seen it.

On an unrelated note - we're coming up on the 20th anniversary of the cinematic masterpiece Water World. That made me feel old.

What blows me away about BTTF being 30 years old is that in the original movie they traveled back in time 30 years to 1955. If the movie was set today they would travel back to 1985 instead and that makes me feel old. I remember '85 really well even though I was just a kid. Great year for pop culture.

That movie got so many bad reviews but I loved it. That's the first movie I can remember that Sons of Anarchy star Kim Coates was in. He was great in that movie.

Same! I remember it fondly like Mad Max. Maybe it was cause I was younger and impressionable when it came out, but I like it. On the Dan Lebatard show yesterday they were talking about it, and Dan said he will always stop and watch it if it was on TV and they were giving him a hard time. I can't believe it's 20 years old now.
