The quick and dirty version of the story is this: Gino Gradkow- ski was brought to Denver because he filled a void.

The Broncos' shuffled, and reshuffled, offensive line had lost its latest center, Will Montgomery, in free agency, and the NFL draft offered few viable replacement options.

"It became a concern," said coach Gary Kubiak, who spoke with general manager John Elway at length about the position. "Which direction are we heading here? I just mentioned to John, 'There's a guy — you all go look at him, but I had him up at Baltimore and he had started the year before, and I think he's a great player and take a look.' "

I hope he does well, but it's hard to get excited about a guy who was ranked dead last out of 35 centers by pff.

So we gave up a 4th round pick and baltimore gave us their 5th and gradkowski? Kubiak told elway that he is a great player, what is that all about? Maybe Kubiak calls everybody great

Im eager for us to sign Chris Myers instead.

Myers wouldn't be a long term solution but Garcia on the other hand could be.
