Elway played a symbiotic role in that running game too, I think people forgot how ineffective Davis was for 4 games before his injury, I believe this was because opponents didn't fear the passing game whatsoever.

Manning will factor huge for them this season too, especially in redzone and short yardage where he's been tits his entire career.

The bright side is that my insecurities aren't protected by aggression. That's not how I cope. But, just for the sake of a good message board response...I hope it does too!

I also wrecked a lot of really bad arguments made on his behalf. He's a borderliner, but I tend to side with the borderline guys.

He's only borderline due to a shortened career. He was the best rb in the game for 3-4 years.

Yeah, if he could have kept that up over the course of a full-time career then duh. But he didn't, which complicates the reality of the situation. Which wasn't what a lot of homers wanted to hear. Like some people still think he should have been a first ballot Hall of Famer, which is absurd. Except to them, and those emotionally invested in the guy.

Gary Zimmerman I believed help Coach up the rest of em and made everyone better. Too bad he didn't play beyond 97.

The funny thing, DB, is that some people can think on issues and change their stance. I know this might be shocking, and you should probably take an aspirin before reading it, but just because you argue for something over a message board you can change your mind. I know. You're probably passed the hell out by now but when you wake up just remember that it's true! :D

Yeah, I think it was on Florida, he shot a kid, and got away with it.

Maybe the judge was a big Broncos fan and appreciated his stellar work in the offensive line.

Just look at when he played he was the best RB in football for 2-3 yrs. There were several other HOF RB playing at the same time and he was better. Yes he had a short career but when did play he was astonishing. 2000 yr rusher, NFL
MVP, and SB MVP.

Several HOF RB never came close to that and played for 4 more yrs than him.
