Kudos to Gino Gradkowski

My wife works with special Ed kids in school and the special Olympics are being held in grand junction this weekend where she will be one of the coaches. She said Gino will be there all weekend and sounds like he will be speaking at the ceremony as well.

Cool to see professional athletes helping out with something like this.

Its especially cool when they do stuff under the radar like this. A few months ago Ben Garland visited my son's school at Palmer Elementary in Denver just to hang out and meet the kids on the playground. I think he knew the gym teacher or something and just did it for the heck of it. The kids all went nuts and he went out and played kickball with them and talked about football with all of them. I don't think that was even on the local news out here.
