Apparently Kubes either decided not to have a press conference today, or it was posted wrong on the Broncos' site??????

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — After spending Organized Team Activity practices last week watching from the sideline taking mental reps, Shane Ray joined his teammates for the start of the second week of OTAs on Monday.

Ray, the Broncos' first-round draft pick, found the experience frustrating but necessary. Despite being unable to participate physically, he found plenty of value in upping his studying in the place of on-field work, peppering coaches and teammates with questions to gain a better understanding of the defense.

But in about six days' time, the training staff felt that he made good progress and cleared him for some limited participation in drills and he expects to be even more active as the offseason program continues.

Tackle Ty Sambrailo knows being a rookie won't be an excuse when it comes to what the team expects from his this season.

Yeah I connected about 1:05 just in time to see the end of it. Usually they are late but today Kubes was early.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- There were familiar faces at the Broncos' fourth organized team activity of the offseason, but most of them were on the sideline, and that's where the takeaways from Monday's OTA begin:

1. AN ALL-STAR CAST WATCHES.

In baseball caps and visors Monday were a virtual who's who of recent Broncos Pro Bowlers: Chris Harris Jr., Peyton Manning, Von Miller, Emmanuel Sanders, Aqib Talib, Louis Vasquez,T.J. Ward, DeMarcus Ware. With tight end Owen Daniels, recently signed tackle Ryan Harris and healing linebackers Brandon Marshall, Shane Ray and Danny Trevathan also on the sideline, the two-hour midday session belonged to Brock Osweiler, Shelley Smith, Shaquil Barrett, Kayvon Webster, Bradley Roby and other young Broncos who could use the extra repetitions.

"I am trying to figure out the youth of this football team, the depth of this football team and how it's going to help us," Head Coach Gary Kubiak said. "So I'm trying to really rep those other guys."

KUSA—This could mean nothing or it could mean everything, but Brock Osweiler looked good running the Broncos' first-team offense Monday.

His effort could be moot because Peyton Manning is ordinarily the Broncos' quarterback, and barring a pulled quad or something, he's taking every meaningful snap -- as Osweiler knows all too well.

But improvement by Osweiler as he enters his fourth NFL season could mean everything. Manning is 39 years old, an age when pulled quads or something are more likely to happen.
